@Saj5DJ Wet track is pretty tough, but the first time you have someone blow an oil feed line and dump oil in front of you... now that's tricky. I had that happen to me two years ago at Pacific Raceways.

It happened at the beginning of a very tricky braking zone where I go from about 135mph down to 80mph for a carousel left-then-right. Watched two cars eat the dust behind me!!!

I'm calling B.S. on the rain and oily track excuse. Watch the driver LET OFF THE GAS and BRAKE at 0:14. This is why the car wasn't saved.

Had he stayed in the throttle (while modulating) and reacted with proper counter steer, this may have just been a cool clip.

The wet conditions fooled the driver into thinking he could drive the same way he does in dry.

I'm not hating on the driver, really. More on the lame excuse. :D Anyone can make mistakes, and that's just part of performance driving.

P.S. I have 9 years of experience. No wheel to wheel, but tons of HPDE and Time Attack/Time Trials with both SCCA and NASA.

@dugwillis84 it was understeering because u had ur foot on the brake, hence the front wheels were not spinning, hence the only thing close to steering was 2 rubber tires facing the direction you wanna go but locked in a sliding position doing about the same as expecting your rear wheels to steer the car.
