Thank you for this fabulous rendition. I was unemployed 41 months and watched this video. It inspired me, I watched it a few more times. I just was awarded a fantastic job - 1 job that 2500 people applied for. Seriously, everyone who's unemployed please don't give up, there's a place for you. I cried when I got the offer letter and was shocked for days. It's one of the hardest things to go through, be strong and "Don't Give Up" Maureen from Chicago.

But, I'd listen to this song and it would instantly give me hope and well, I just got a great job 3 weeks ago. I'm still not over the loss of income, friends thinking I was not looking hard enough, insensitive people who just don't get it that we're in a recession. We just experienced the New Blood tour concert last night. A slow start. Second half better. Orchestra was amazing with members of Philly orchestra participating.. Three hour show. Gabriel is quite good. However, I prefer PG's band. The experience was "different"; but that is what PG is all about.

This song brings out the best of Gabriel and Paula Cole in a brilliant rendition of a gifted lyrical and vocal inspiration. Why it has a mere 8,191 'views' is a mystery to me. I bought my first DVD player just to hear this album in its full "life statement" of this concept artist, whose concept seems to be to remind us what great singers with soul and compassion can do ion this messed up world.

Without a doubt, this song is so appropriate for where we are today in America. I've heard this song a thousand times, but this is the first time I heard Paua Cole do it with Gabriel. All the other performances pale in comparison. Her expression, her phrasing... perfect. This song left me absolutely in tears.
