@SonicOrbit01 If you say people say you're lame for carrying around a basic mp3 player, then what would they say if you use an old sony walkman cassette player? I still use one of the yellow sports models of them and apart from the regular "why don't you just get an ipod" I typically get neutral-positive reactions.

As a matter of fact, a girl in my english class (who i've known for about a year now) said she thought it was cool that I still use one. I even let her listen to one of my tapes.

@MrStingray358 Whew, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one who still uses his Walkman. Then again I have a large collection of classic rock tapes (Van Halen, Motley Crue, Journey, to name a few)
