There is not enough discussion in the public arena on this particular topic. I think there should be so much more of this idea.

I bought into the abortion lie in the 70's. Abortion (murder) should never be an option not even for rape. There are women all over the world who would love to have a baby.They spend thousands of dollars for invitro fertilization which doesn't always work, and spend years desperate to have a baby. How many women live to regret their abortion in the long run, and I know so many horror stories.

@nogerdsurg I have long tried to present this scenario, this possibility, a story of selflessness and love that survived what others say must be blotted out ASAP but I have been unsuccessful. thanks to this video, however, I know have graphic evidence that hopefully wlll work and be successful where my voice was not.

Thank you for this beautiful video. My family adopted my younger brother who is a beautiful shining light in our life. I can't imagine my life without him. He taught me about love. He has Down syndrome. 90% of mothers who find out their child has Down syndrome chose to abort. If I ever met his mother I would hug her and thank her for choosing life. She brought an amazing person into the world.

@candy17uk If he had been aborted would that have changed the fact that she was raped? No. So if by calling into question the biological mom's ability to repair her life bcs she chose to give birth you are dismissing the purpose his life has, you're misguided.

@candy17uk I, of course, don't know what his bio mom's story is, but the point of the vid is to show the beauty that came from her choice to birth him. Rape is an absolutely horrific act...horriific. His life is something beautiful that came from something despicable. I just have a problem with the insinuation that not going through the pregnancy would have solved something.

@lookinout4ya For some women it releives the mental anguish of having to bring a rapists child to term, having your body invaded and then harboured by a sick individuals repugnant act . Remember every woman is different and not every woman is able to physically and mentally survive the nightmare that being pregnant by rape.....

I do commend this mans mother for CHOOSING to harbour this individual so that he can have life and can be happy.. I really hope it has brought her healing..

It was brave of the man's mother to carry him to term under such conditions, but if my mother had conceived me in such horrendous circumstances, I wouldn't have begrudged her the decision to abort me. I wouldn't have wanted her to suffer like that, and I certainly wouldn't want to expect that suffering of anyone else either.

@lookinout4ya I have said many times - two wrongs do not make a right. Aborting a child does not negate or undo as though it never happened - the rape. What makes people think that if she has an abortion PRESTO, she's good, she's done - no problem.

Ii think the opposite is more likely true. that is she is given the support and guidance and counseling she deserves, she will find a way in her heart to love her child enough to give it life.

It is, afterall, you know HER CHILD, HER SON, too.

Never to see the face of his mother, to smell her skin, to hear her call out his name, to feel her touch.
