Yes it does all of this and more. I have a Le Presse. I make mashed potatoes and chop onions all of the time. French fries with fresh potatoes that I dont have to peel.
A machine to get the avocado out of the peel? A soup spoon works just as good. I'd hate to have to disassemble this huge machine to pick out all that guac after squishing that avocado. Yuck.
@6:44 making perfect patties? Oh come ON, you don't need this machine and a cupcake liner to make patties. And clearly, she uses the liner not so you can "store it for later", but because it wouldn't come out intact otherwise.

I'm not sure if this product really works "as advertised" but I am impressed with the amount of thought that was put into the commercial (especially compared to other infomercials). Usually they just demonstrate the basic things it can do. The bit about using the apple core for the broccoli (even if someone else gave her the line, THAT person still did the experimenting with the product to figure that out) shows they took time and actually worked with the product before trying to sell it.
