  • I'll contest makaku777 coment , judo isn't about beeing skinny or fat but it ain't about strngh either , its all about stability and useing your opponents force againts him .. :)

  • ??? this is not judo... he had only strong but he had no tecnique...

  • I'd triangle that mo'fo!

  • keep up the good work! nice!

  • Да парень физически подготовлен неплохо, но не супер. Но то, что он делает на татами назвать дзю-до язык не поворачивается!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I wish I knew sooner, congratulations on your success.

  • Keep up the good work you look great

    congrats.

  • he is a amazing judoka and that is a very good workout but that music makes it seem hilarius =D

  • ese negro cuando esta calentando parece un teletubie saltando ajaja

  • 100+?

  • why does brutus gives up?

  • music sucks but not judoka

  • this dude is a beast,,, like his workout

  • wow what great sports place

  • it gets real weird around 1:18

  • Funny!

  • Nice vid. Music suck!!!

  • judo is not muscle but technique

  • Not sure what kind of judo you are playing mate, ALL of the guys you see here are phenomenally strong. Right down to the 60kgs category.

  • tres bien allez Brutus

  • ele tem bastante musculo e pouca tecnica !

num vi ele fazer nada ale !

    puf !

  • Haiti being through a lot.And to have this young men represent that country is worth a gold medal. He probably didn't finish top 10.But it's a step all he need a better trainer and a good entourage with a judo champion on his side to teach him and a sponsor.Coming from a grappling background judo is not easy at all.Stop the diss unless you could compete on that level.

  • Imagine this kid in judo!

    look under

    "worlds biggest 13 year old"

  • them fights were borin as hell

    can he not throw?

  • why do he hitting a wheel with the hammer?

  • to work the same muscles used when pulling someones arm over your shoulder like a seio nage.

  • Caaare!!!

  • He should have gotten a better trainner. He had to train doing Randori, lots of Randori lots of uchi-comi, I bet he didn't even got close to the 20s place in the olympics. I think he would be better doing wresling instead

  • lol he hit on a tire with a hammer

  • how he is so fat if he do all this? wtf

  • IMHO, Judo shouldn't be about strength, but expertise. That's why we have weight categories.

  • hi joel its us alex and eva we just wanna say hello and we are wishing u good luck

  • lol around 7:28 they look like old men not to dis respect the country but its just funny how judo is pleaz noone tke this serious

  • This is great, excellent training bro', keep up the good work.

  • fu cccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccking jerk

  • that sucks. haiti hasn't won any metals since the 1920s. look at the other islands like jamaica. hopefully haiti will make a combat.

  • shut up you dumb beamer. go back to mexico.

  • ASSHOLE you and all your family must die, cuz are shit, PUTA WARRA PERRA FUCK YOU WITH AL YOUR ASSHOLE CONTRY PUTA BITCH WANKER COME TO MEXICO TO SUCK MY BIG DICK

  • this video is awesome !! thanks for showing us how you train!!!

  • Is this compatriot training for judo or the world's strongest man competition you always see on ESPN2? the training routine would get someone confuse.

  • To bad nobody on these comments knows what they are talking about.

  • wow... go Haiti!!

  • so.. whats with the "welcome to your new fast food resturaunt job" music?

  • he looks to happy and frendly

  • WTF?!!

  • that's looks more boring than synchronized swimming.

i thought judo would be cool. esp. in the olympics.

  • loser idiot

  • This is not intensity =[

  • 1:18!!

  • i guarantee that none of you haters couldnt last 30 good seconds with this man..

  • no...and the people who like this video could last much longer?

  • this man is a world class judokan..matter of fact 30 seconds is way to long..10 seconds would be more like it..

  • haha

  • i will put $5,000 i will toss him all ova da places!

  • u gonna be out of 5 grand for sure...where do u reside? i really can make this happen?? if u last more than 30 secs u can keep your dough..lol

  • pinchee negroo

  • lol....somebody should have told this guy that this is a Martial Arts competition not an Aerobics fitness competition...my advice...try Rendori next time.

  • i guarantee u that u couldnt last 30 second with this man..he is that good..

  • lol thats pretty funny how he gets motivated but apparently it helps

  • bull shiit

  • abit fat but very fit and strong how much he weigh

  • thats one freaking work out lol

  • Great workout! But hes a bit fat, don't ya think.

  • judo is not about being skinny or fat, it's about strengh. remember, most judo guys are not bratt pit looking guys. ;D

  • I agree these guys are about as much strength as possible, not looking like some pretty boy.

  • @makaku777 its not all about strength its mostly speed and knowledge. strength has it advantage in it too but its mostly on speed and knowledge. i know im black belt in judo

  • @makaku777 I am

  • @makaku777 Ummmm what about Technique that is more important then strength?

  • @makaku777 Ummmm what about Technique? that is more important then strength in my opinion.

  • one of the best videos on youtube

  • Thank you so much!

  • @ethanlefkowitz if you didnt medal, then video is worthless,,,,hope nest earthquake destroys your piece of shit island

  • @nicoyanicoya you should learn how to spell you sound very ignorant, stupid and dumb!! Jump off a bridge for your lack of education

BONNE CHANCE NAN OLIMPIK YO MAN!!

  • je suis entièrement avec cet haîtien qui va représenter notre île chérie au JO.S'il est là ce n'est pas un cadeau,c'est tout simplement parcequ'il s'est battu pour être qualifié.Donc c'est un espoir, il faut le soutenir

  • we don't have a chance in the olympics. Even though we have 100 times more heavyweights than in japan, they will destroy this guy. He's good. And, I'm proud of him, but 100 americans equal one japanese in judo.

  • this are real examples to follow

not like fucking fagins like the jonas brothers that are recognized for nothing

  • Best Luck to him in the Olympics!

I'm interested in his training technique though- short ROM training, no out and out power work in the vid with heavy weights. I suppose it's focusing on conditioning- I'll be interested to note his shape in Beijing.

    Shame about Fallom

  • a head weight.... good luck thou!

  • Best wishes!

  • good luck bro

  • nice tire strikes

  • thats why you're an olympian right???

  • and thats y he's an olympian and you're sitting watching his videos on youtube

    nice one buddy!!

  • And3 who are you talking to??? I'm talking to angry oriental, my comments didn't post correctly!

  • I found this on accident, but this guy went to my Judo dojo for some time, Sport Judo in Alexandria, VA?

  • could be.

  • yes, if you look on the website they have a congradulations to him for competing. and when I was in class a few weeks ago before I injured myself he was there training as well.

  • How old is Brutus?

  • 35 on august 12

  • Ok, angry oriental, qualify for the games and then talk...

  • This is for muscle endurance and explosion.

  • yeah even though, he still needs to use proper form. and endurance is done in sport specific training. i have a masters in kinesiology. i was also a strength coach. for strongman.

  • No wonder your name is angry then if you are so sure about everything why did not you compete instead of him. I don't mind the criticisism but man not even a positive word...that is a beg step for our country.

  • i never said anything about competing so why would you insinuate.i said i have trained strongmen for strongmen competitions.and i never said one negative thing about him personally,i was speaking about his training, it has nothing to do about being negative towards joel,it mostly attack towards his trainer.he competing for haiti not the US so how is that a big step for our country. thank you for your adjective opinion.

  • Is he going to compete for Haiti or is he going to compete for the US? I heard he was planning on maybe competing with Team USA this year.

  • He would have wanted to compete for the USA, as he is a US citizen now. But there were too many politics and red tape between US and Haitian judo feds, so he gave up and went back to competing for Haiti.

  • That's a shame; the US could use another big guy like him.

  • great video of a friend who loves his sport, best of luck at Beijing.

  • judo!!!

  • Go Joel Brutus!
