Heheh, I'm taking Calculus AB this year, and I must say, this is an excellent video. Great pace and great explanations. I am taken pre-calc and i dunno how it slipped my mind, i could do step functions just fine, but this slipped my mind.. i think its my nature.. i remember the complicated stuff and trash the simple stuff.. usually there is plenty of lesser minded people around to remember this kinds of stuff

i have a question: how come in 7:22, you just plug in -1? since you said we ignore the restriction, then we could plug in whichever number, right? but what if that number was positive? then the graph and the solution would be a completely different story, now would it? if you can explain i would greatly appreciate it :)
