I like the effort. If I can make a suggestion in terms of the appeal to Clinton supporters, it might be more effective to focus on the movement more than just the man. Obama supporters like you and I appreciate Obama as a kid, etc. But Clinton supporters would probably want to see images of how Obama represents an equally good opportunity for them to see positive change in this country. Perhaps with images of Obama meeting with regular people, or being friendly with Clinton, etc. Just my thought
It's time to come together. All supporters of the both candidates must come together and get behind the one winning right now. We can make this call - not the media or further distraction. It's time to align ourselves behind Senator Obama so we can beat McCain in November. We can do it.
One of the two remaining Democratic candidates WILL be the nominee. The party will need to unite in order to beat McCain this November. It's as simple as that, and whoever wins the nomination will need the other's supporters to right the oh-so-many wrongs of the Bush administration.
But if we do, I can tell you that in the next election, we'll be talking about some other distraction. And then another one. And then another one. And nothing will change.
That is one option. Or, at this moment, in this election, we can come together and say, "Not this time."
In Indiana, North Carolina, Kentucky, and West Virgina anyone who will be 18 by November 4th, 2008 is eligible to vote in their state primary. That means most high school seniors in all four states can register to vote now.
It's much easier to sit around crabbing about stuff than to actually inspire people to do something. If the other candidates were 1/2 as interested in actually changing things with action, they might have millions of people making small donations, and volunteering in droves as well. People are motivated because they're sick of things as they are, and Obama has inspired them to actually pursue change with action, not just sit around and bitch. It's called being inspired to act, not "following"
Excellent... thanks for the wonderful collection of pictures and music. It helps present the Senator as a person in a way the media fails to do: as an engaging person of integrity, humor and compassion.
Beautiful...let's come together...throwing the kitchen sink is not the answer...will this behavior make the people of the world look up to us again...
Nice subtle video. Obama will help this country come together, we need the Hillary supporters to start coming together now to support Obama in the general election.
The unexpected soft sounds that accompany the steadily-changing images surprise me at first, but then go on to create a mood. A mood that says: it's okay, it's under control, it's safe, it's believable, it's time; where "it" stands for the United States of America under President Obama's leadership.
I've always felt you can judge how a candidate will act in office by how they run their campaign. One candidate is inspiring us; the other is throwing the kitchen sink.
I don't have anything against having a female president. Clinton is just not right for us at this time. She is too much of a Washington insider, taking PAC and lobbyiest money and yet wants to change the state of Washington. We need something new, someone new to move forward in this country. And we need EVERYONES help. People are getting upset or mad at one candidate or the other, but I this question to Hillary supporters: Would you have been this engaged in politics if it wasn't for Obama?
If she wins then a full quarter of the US population will have only LIVED under presidents named Clinton and Bush. Does that sound like democracy to you?
You got to love Obama....what song is this????

I don't know if the two sides can come together.
