When I was 13, this was the ONLY show on earth I could relate to. Life was so hard and stressy back then that Eric was like a hero to me. And whenever I watched it back then (and even NOW), I was allways feel sorry, a bit stressy but humoured at the same time

There's great shows both sides of the Atlantic. There is also shite aswell from both sides so no one can slag either off 'who's best and who's not'. Just be grateful that there is programmes you do like.

Brass Eye is class I like him as Denholm Reynholm in It Crowd too as he portrays himself as a right twat (worse than David Brent). Moss is the best character though I love him! Also his son Douglas Reynholm I liked him in Garth Marenghi's Darkplace as Todd Rivers, and Thornton Reed (Moss).

British comedy is darker, less sentimental/sickly and more surreal than American comedy. We do produce a lot of crap , but then so does America. Got to admit though, the Simpsons is still the best animated comedy ever.

I agree new British comedy is well shite I cannot stand My Family and Two Pints of Lager that show just is scraping the barrel, lewd and not even funny in my eyes. Father Ted, Black Books, Garth Merenghi's Darkplace, Red Dwarf now they are class. Not to forget the old skool classics (I'm sure I don't need to name them).As a Brit the US stuff I like is the ones mentioned by StiggyStig and also Everybody Hates Chris/Grounded For Life/King Of Queens.Others US coms I find pretty shit though.
