  • How did Nick know Abigail was praying if he was standing behind her?

  • @sbookerthegreat god told him

  • Should have put the gathering place for the evil ones in D.C.....

  • Where is part 14,15,n16???

  • @jhmoonman There isn't one you go onto The Betrayal

  • M-O-O-N That spells PARADE! Hooray Dawber from Coach!!!

  • I love Matt Frewer :)

  • M-O-O-N-- that spells terrible acting!

  • @MeanieNene1 If you read the description it says The Betrayal is next

  • If Flagg and his minions own this place why don't they clean the corpses off the street or does Flagg prefer the decor?

  • @camrober ther's only 5 guys there at first. They burn the corpses when more people arrive.

  • hey,did everybody see wayne newton hanging out of the white station wagon in the begining?

  • Thank you for always putting in "next part" at the end of each part!!!

  • @brunette427 brunette, you are both sexy and saucy

  • why is there always paper throw out the streets in these type of movies?

  • thank you SO MUCH for posting this film in its entirety, brunette!

  • she thinks that is a parade?

  • Thanks for a great upload, Ive been wanting to see this for a few months now

  • 0:31 KING. Stevie you ham lol.

  • reminds me of fallout for some reason

that would be awesome to be the last man alive in a city

  • @1x93cm well technically the new fallout game is gonna take place in vegas and vegas still stands without being destroyed by the nuclear war. its called fallout: new vegas

  • As a Vegas native, nice to see downtown without the frigg'n "Fremont Street Experiance", used to be so awesome to actually drive down that overly bright street & hear the "Howdy Partner" from the standing Cowboy, that kind of "progress" SUCKS!

  • im so glad u added this movie its one of my favorites next to the green mile

  • Great film indeed :)

  • I mean the late 1970s lol

  • I believe The Stand was written in the late 1070s or early 1980s.

  • @lms662002 1978 is the first book, then the uncut in 1990

  • Tom is such a good character. He and Nick are my favorite.

  • Wheres the KID? great character :D

  • I'm sure they had to write him out, a little graphic for a TV miniseries. lol

  • They took him out to save some minutes in the movie.

  • I really like it when mother abigail tells them to stand or talk it drives the whole thing home

  • No Kid in this...ouch.

  • lol your point :)

  • How come all the lights are still working?

  • I imagine there were already a few followers that Flagg has put to work turning the electricty back on.

  • trashy is 'special' too like tom cullen. in the book flagg can't follow trashy with his astral eye

  • CIABOLA!!!!!!MY LIFE FOR YOU!

  • Is all of Las Vegas neon powered by Hoover Dam??

  • 3:48 - I've driven on that road...

  • The Matrix got the Oracle off of this movie.

  • Time is nonlinear. Perhaps Stephen got the Stand from the Matrix.

  • um... the stand was written long before the matrix. But i'm willing to consider the possibility that stephen king is also a time-traveler given how badass he is in most other respects.

  • Exactly. That is what I meant by time is nonlinear :)

  • For some reason, I think that Jim Gaffigan would be perfect as the Trashcan Man . . .

  • the descriptions not clear..thats why i asked

  • how is it not clear (just asking) it says "1) "The Plague" 2) "The Dreams" 3) "The Betrayal" 4) "The Stand" "

  • lol it is pretty clear i think but then again i've watched this movie like 10 times....i love it thanks for posting!!!!

  • is it the betrayal after this?

  • Yes, PLEASE look at the description, thank you!

  • For god's sake... are you Tom Cullen?

  • they got electrics back on fast in Vegas....

  • It would be some time before Vegas' source of power, Hoover Dam, shut down.

  • Yeah, that was strange.

  • Jonah Hill would absolutely NAIL the role of HAROLD. And then he'd nail Nadine in some superbad ways they couldn't really film. Thus begins my campaign JONAH for HAROLD.

  • M-O-O-N that spells dictionary thomas

  • thanks for uploading all these Brunette!! i had a craving to watch the movie as im on like my 7th time thru the book and havent seen the movie for like 8 years, its prettty good!!

  • Was the "Plaza" casino the same casino they used for "Biff's Pleasure Palace" in Back to the Future II? The opening sequence of this chapter reminds me of Hill Valley controlled by Biff (in the alternate 1985)

  • It looks like it to me too, idk. I LOVE BTTF

  • thanks b427, i too am reading the book again and wanted to see the movie once more, tata for uploading and dont worry bout the words in the middle- you dont notice them really

  • @Zoidberg312 Yes, it is. IMDb confirmed it in the trivia section.

  • @Zoidberg312 "Make leik a twree an' git outta heree!" lol

  • @Zoidberg312 i knoe rite

  • What's the name of that Hotel/Casino? The Plaza? Lame. If you were Flagg wouldn't you set up at The Palazzo or The Venetian? Seriously.

  • I don't think the Venetian existed back then...

  • what????

  • dude they sleep there, its a movie.

  • what the kid?

  • No, I think theyre referring to the guy that plays trashy

  • I have seen this film when i was 13 i liked then and it ist sill so.

  • Nadine Cross was wonderfully played throughout the movie though overlooked. Should've found a fat ugly kid off the street to play Harold though.

  • i always pictured someone like jorge garcia, the fat guy who plays hurley on 'lost'.

  • I always figured they went the way they did with the Harold character so they wouldn't have to show the changes in him the way they took place in the book.

  • wrong.

  • i think this is movie is so good and the book was also good to mother abagail it think they couldnt have picked a better actress than ruby dee and her husband ossie davis for this movie

  • I'm pretty sure that this episode is the beginning of the next chapter: "The Gathering" ...not the end of "The Dreams".

  • It's the end of The Dreams, also you switch dvds at this point as well.

  • I remember watching the Stephen King marathon on tv for 7 hours xD

  • you were lucky you got to watch it on a marathon. I cant even remember how old I was when this came out like 11 and we had to wait a week to watch the next part, it came on every sunday night at 8.

  • i was 10 or 11, must say the anticipation alone was worth the week's wait.

  • help us to stand

  • nice

  • can people rot that fast, that one guy was a skeletin

  • Climate is a big factor in how fast people decompose.

  • also depends on whether scavengers feed on the decomposing bodies...
