  • The Dark knight is an Excellent adventure and action packed movie, its in a league

of its own. Everytime I watch it on my Vizio 1080P. I get excited and hearing the thunderous bass coming out of my surround sound speakers. You got good taste with that movie one of my all time favorites. The Joker made the movie, in my opinion.

  • Can u send me some info please!! Thumbs up!

  • im not sure if its the camera but the colours look really washed out

  • is that blu ray m2ts file?

  • Hi, I would love to know how to do that. Any chance you could show me how??

  • if you can send me how you did it that would rule

  • please send me a messege on how to do this!! thank you!

  • hi,can i get some info on how to back up blue ray

  • Hi can u please send me some info on how u did this thanks

  • hey. how did you do this..if u can help me that would be great.. thanx

  • yo can you send me some info on this.. i have some of my own blu rays that i want to back up onto my ps3.

  • how do you back up your blue ray movies ?

  • why did one of the most greates movies of the summer have to get a crappy blue ray transfer I love this movie But I hate the way they did it it should be like the standerd deff dvd and not switch from fulll wide screen to letter box they should fix it

  • I agree. I didn't particularly like the back and forth switching, but you get so into the movie that you barely realize it is still switching after a certain point.

  • what do i need to do this? and how? please let me know

  • HI, can you please send me the instructions to the process? thanks

  • Can you send me info on this process? Thanks.

  • Send me info...Thanks

  • so how did cha do it

  • is this running at 1080p?

  • But how did you put the whole movie on ur fat 32 external without splitting it into 2 parts

  • Hey what's up Yankees. The movie was formatted down to approximately 3.9 GB. Fat32 will not allow for a file size larger than 4GB. Send me a private message if you need more detail. Thanks!

  • When backing up the hard drive, is the content you've bought from the PSN store also backed up or is there something that needs to be done first before backing up?

  • Good question Blake, however I am not sure about backing up the TS3 HDD. What I am doing here is backing up my blu-ray discs and saving to my HDD.

  • ive given up on it. everytime i try to do it it just says permission denied. i also tried it with sak but that just comes up with killed everytime.

  • Which program is giving you the permission denied message? It took me a couple of weeks to get it right. I wouldn't give up so fast, but it's obviously up to you.

  • Xubuntu (linux) is coming up with permission denied message when i type in "dd if=/dev/cdrom of=/imagename.img" and Swiss Army Knife (SAK) gives me the killed message when i try to backup the blu ray. Im gonna start trying again if you are able to help me. Thanks

  • The instructions I sent you have nothing to do with Linux, nor SAK. You may be trying to follow someone else's tutorial?

  • I never received your instructions. could you please send them again

  • I sent the instructions to your aol account from my hotmail account. I am resending them now...

  • so do i need to format my portable hard drive to fat32 with only one partition? also did you use you ps3 with linux or did you use a bluray drive in your pc and trasfer it over to the ps3?

  • so do i need to format my portable hard drive to fat32 with only one partition?

    YES

also did you use you ps3 with linux or did you use a bluray drive in your pc and trasfer it over to the ps3?

No Linux on PS3, and yes I have a BD drive in my PC, and yes I transferred to the PS3, although you can play the movies straight from your HDD as long as it's plugged in to the PS3 via USB. Hope that helps. ;-)

  • where is a tut to show me how to backup my blu rays?

  • Hi, what software did you use to compress the blu ray films?

  • is ther some big set up to get a ps3 to play blu ray or do u just pop the blu ray disc in and itll begin playing

  • blu ray is avalable right out of the box

  • so i think u have to get a program which splits the movie into 4gb parts, so u can transfer it to the fat32 hdd. OR is the bluray just reduced to a 4gb file and the quality is also reduce?

  • Guranteed you got this from pristine ;D

  • What's up zax808. Not sure who pristine is, but I got the needed help from Google, not pristine. ;-)

  • i wish u could a NTFS hard drive on the ps3

  • I think people would get lazy and not compress the files down, thus filling up TB's of drive space. Fat32 is just fine.

  • what program are u using to convert your file? I em using xilisoft for video conversion and i have the Hauppauge 1212 HD PVR which records 1080i through componts cables straight from the ps3. a two hour movie bluray comes out to be 8-12 gb.

  • which takes up more place ts or m2ts?

  • ts files are a direct rip from the blu-ray disc using tsMuxeR, so they can be 40+ GB. It all depends man.

  • correct me if im wrong. You can only have a bluray video file up to 4 gigs do to fat32. so u lose video qualty.

  • You are correct on the file size being limited to 4GB in order to transfer to a Fat32 drive. As for the loss of video quality, you be the judge. Please do not take my upload as a sign of video quality of the finished product. You have to see a ripped movie for yourself. I have a difficult time seeing a difference. ;-)

  • very nice! i own a regular bluray player. and i do plan to buy a ps3 one day. and thats very nice transfer.

  • cool how did you transfer the movie onto the harddrive.

  • Thanks for watching. The movies reside on an external hard drive, hooked up to the PS3 via USB cable. I suppose I can transfer the movies onto the PS3 hard drive, but have not done so. The PS3 recognizes the external hard drive because it's formatted Fat32.

  • hey, i was wondering how u got the movie onto your external fat32 harddrive since u can onluy load up to 4gig at one t ime?
