What is normal is a matter of perspective. He is different from most of the others, I will say that--and that is one of the things I like about him--but his perspective usually is right on, and he always encourages us to do our own thinking and check things out, not just believe his opinion as gospel. As for your last question, I have no answer. The FCC monitors his show constantly, so I guess they don't consider him a threat.
