Nice video.. Am amazed PAL continues to utlise their 747 on domestic & international flights... These planes must be approaching the 20 yr old age... Combine with a high utilization rate... Respect to the maintenance guys!

@didierlotsyeng tnx man. This 747 is a bit old (no PTVs and old PAL seats), but engine sounds still good coz the pilot was spooling it on and off for softer touchdown. My return flight is w/ a newer PAL 747, now has PTVs and better seats. They use these 744s at day here for domestic flights and at night is used for its int'l route i.e. KLAX, KSFO

@kljigs500 the 747 just has a bigger cabin esp the vertical clearance for passengers as compared to a340 and a330. hope u get to fly w/ newer 744 coz my 2nd 744 was an old one and has no PTVs. i wanna try their 777-300ER coz that's the only pal plane i havent flown with :(

@kljigs500 ur right. most a340-313s has bypass reversers like that of a320s but w/ 747s they deploy cold stream reversers, but basically it's coz these aircrafts use diff. engine types
