It is not a question if gas or no gas mr. Simaz12345. As long as there are people demanding gas, somebody will provide it.
For example: Lets say somebody in Holland sells green energy to German nature friends, but at same time Holland buys nuclear energy from France and they mix it together to be able to provide enough to Germany. There is no 100% green energy anywhere unless you make it yourself with farts. There ain't no end of oil reserves either. The future is oily & full of nuclear plants.

FF: Inflation of gas was caused by Putin signing BIG DEAL with Baku! Cheney arrives next week & finds he lost out! Now we find that Putin (by his saying here) paid $350 for gas! So he MUST charge Ukraine $400 to make only small gain! But, Ukraine & all little EU countries are broke & can't afford gas bill - so all factories are shut down! I have a question about Russian gas prices. Is it true that Russia sells this gas to some countries for far less money than it is asking Ukraine? Is it all just about gas, or is there an element of Russian resistance to the west. Especially NATO. What is it about NATO that Russia doesn't like?

Pay Back for Ukraine siding with the USA, EU, Georgia, Britian, and Israel. Putin waited until winter and shut the GAS OFF. the situation is pretty clear here. ukraine just wants to get gas for nothing. they got used to that in the previous years and they got chicky. and why? because at any russian attempt to make order with ukrainian affairs at once ukraine got some moral support from the so called west. that's not going to work this time. Putin and russian government are absolutely right in their legal demands. the sooner Europe accepts it the better for everybody.

Plus, it's just about as totalitarian in Russia as in any other European country. You white knights run around, screaming about democracy, not knowing the bigger picture. Ever think that democracy doesn't work all the time? Some nations need a strong leadership to keep its citizens in check, after which democracy can be introduced.
As demonstrated in the 1990's, Russians and most Eastern Europeans tend to abuse "democracy." The country's fine without it.

It was pretty good, but I still ran into alot of stupid people who knew next to nothing about history and news outside of America's borders and who were quite rude to me for being a Russian.
Still, back then when relations were better than now, it was much nicer. Now, I see that many places are going out of business, more animosity and racism, and alot of things are showing their age. Alot has changed for the worse. I like both places, but Putin's Russia a little more since it's home. :)

I have a son born in 1970. Another born in 1974.
They are pretty much the last of a generation of Americans who are still somewhat patriotic and responsible and self sufficient. Russians not too popular here even now. Hangover from the old cold war days I think. I am much more prejudiced than my sons however. They are more attuned to today. Most American youth now are lazy and stupid I think, compared to my generation. Religion is dying here. Homosexuality is on the rise. Less self sufficiency--

I took a job, out of retirement, 5 years ago at UCLA. I was very surprised to see almost half of the student body where female, and Chinese. Chinese, Vietnamese, Japanese children. Also Indian children are the future of America I think. We have plenty of serious young people who are not into drugs and pornography and alcohol. Studious people with good educations. But times have changed. Even my daughter, married to my youngest son, is Chinese. Both are computer engineers. Oldest son is USNA grad

Freedom to travel where they want to and read what they want to without interference from the government authorities.
