what did you hit before you switched into the snr? oh also if you use your elbows as well as the hip preasure its a sure pin. elbows act as a bumper to stop them from rolling. great video. great wrestler.
You absolutely owned him; his legs were helpless, his arms were helpless; he was totally owned and submitted, period.Too bad the quality wasn't better, I'd like to have seen his face.Oh yeah, you should change the title of the video;it's hard to find;just put something like "SNR wrestling pin" or something like that-you'll see a HUGE increase in hits.
I'm happy you know so much about wrestling because that move is most definitally called the Satruday Night Ride. Do some research before you open your mouth again.
And I was even nice enough to go out of my way to do some research for you, seeing you lack an amount of competence. The Saterday Night Ride is the same more as the "Double Gravevine." There is no move called double grapes, I'm happy you did your research. I can do Google I.
actuly that is what we call it at my school, the Grapes. ( short for grape vines ) but dont get on the kid for that.... every move has like 5 different names pending the school you come from.
snr is my fav move i have bjj back ground and when i learned that move in my high school wrestling team i had to use it. i made a kid cry with it .i did like a gilotine with snr put together and the kid cried took me 20 sec to win in the mayors cup.
I want to learn bjj some time, it looks interesting. I had a bit of Judo background. But I love this move because it is empowering for you, and it is painful and embarrising for the one you do it to.
if u scoop the head like a reverse half and grab and arm and then spread ur whole body out you can make it hurt about 10 timse worse cuz u screw up the kids neck

They slip in easiest during scrambles. Spread your legs hard for an extra bonus, hurts them pretty good.

wtf?!
that was a pin like no other.
that was much longer than 2 seconds.
i know it depends on the ref but most go for 2 seconds and both shoulder blades were down and pinned for atleast 7 seconds

ofareggie 3 years ago
Why weren't you awarded the pin? All criteria were met: both scapula of the defeated wrestler were on the mat.
