They didn't cancel it, it ended. Though what I'm about to type is going to shock you. In the last manga of Black Cat, Kentaro Yabuki said that he'll hopefully make part 2 of Black Cat. Isn't THAT shocking? Though thats what it said at the end of the last manga, Volume 20.
