None of that. There's one audio track I recorded befor I just played along the song for 4 or 5 times for differnt camera angles.

My keyboard rig is simple: Korg Triton Le and Korg X5D.

Nice, but I have doubts which parts are played by you. I hear too much of the original song here. I play keyboards too and I must say that "reproduction" of the original Nightwish sounds is very difficult. I've tried to play some of their songs on Korg Triton Extreme and it has sounded slightly different.

I'm playing a Korg X5D, which has the same samples Tuomas used in the Studio on his Korg N264. So

there is no real difference between the sounds. Same thing on my Triton. Apart from solo sound, I completely use the same samples!

But you're right: My Keyboard is too low. You can't figure out whats the song, whats my playing. Sorry for that. I can hear the differences on the original video on my computer but not on youtube. -.-

Tuomas records samples and pads from the orchestral versions of his songs and uses them on the concerts. He got Mac with all the samples behind the stage. I've played not only on Triton Extreme but on few other models with the same sound module and believe me or not, it was not the same sound. Take a look at the concerts of Nightwish and see what Tuomas is doing. Which parts are played "from hand" and which are only pads and loops.
