How I loved this band...had the pleasure of interviewing Julie mostyn when they were touring on the Nth Coast just at the time Sacrifice was released...managed to catch up with here at the Byron services club before the show and had a couple of drinks..one of the best although I admit this wasn't my favourite track
Yep, great band, I saw them around '85 at the jump club and they were great. Had the biggest crush on JM. Only just reentered my consciousness. Best single they did was "the edge". I reckon they were ahead of their time
I saw them live on a double bill as the support fro INXS at a pub in Fairy Meadow NSW (a crowd of maybe 30) in the very early 1980s possibly even 1980 itself) and they blew INXS (who must have only just arrived from WA) completely out of the water. Maybe INXS were influenced by the Hands rather than vice versa? Julie Mostyn's voice leaves Hutchence in the shade in my view. Thanks for posting this rare footage.
Their worst single (too much INXS input!), but still great to see vision of one of the best Sydney bands of the early 80's. The amazing Julie Mostyn is the most soulful live peformer I've EVER seen!
can we see the previous 4 please ? was this their last?. white soul/jazz.. a bit like swingout sister.

Can't find clip for "The Edge" . Thought I'd seen it before. Mustn't grumble.

Great song, one of the best off their LP, I'd say. Nice to see video of them. Thanks for posting!
