The song is actually a poem by an unknown author. The poem is really 2 stanzas longer than the song. Look it up "don't quit" I think ms. Wheeler did a superb job. I wish to hear more from her!
its really sad that the only reason i heard this song is because it was on the soundtrack of a horrible movie called Career Opportunities.the only reason i saw that movie is because i had a crush on jennifer connelly back then.. horrible movie....great song.
I've always felt Caron Wheeler never reached her full potential as a solo singer after leaving Soul II Soul....she is such a brilliant singer with a fantastic voice....she needs to find a niche that will suit her voice...this song is one of the best I've hard from her...

There is an abundance of strength, inspiration & beauty in the lyrics of this tune "Don't Give Up"........words that are personally highly motivational to myself (as well as others who have had the good fortune to be "exposed" to this beautiful song). For Ms.Wheeler, wherever you may reside.......I truly wish you the very BEST of God's blessings.
