  • @thencaamike,They only fired him because the story became public, you don't think the board of trustees knew a former defensive coordinator was banned from the school (at least with kids) and didn't know the reason? Of course they knew, interesting, two members of the board "resigned" about 3 weeks ago, everyone is gonna get exposed in this scandal.

  • @thencaamike, mccreary saw the supposed abuse and reported it to a....75 year old football coach, and he was never fired by Penn State, just put on leave after the death threats, so your retarded logic is "fire paterno for what he supposedly heard, but let mccreary remain even though he saw and didn't report" What school did you graduate from? Oh and btw, Penn St. banned Sandusky from bringing kids on the campus based on Paterno's reporting of the incident, why didn't they fire him then?

  • 8 years they had this tape nd watch as everybody calling him a liar nd they with the tape com on now

  • U hit it on the head. well said

  • ESPN is run by ex-jocks. Why is this surprising? Maybe they didn't want to be considered hypocrites.

  • Get on the "Shame on ESPN" Facebook page, "Like" it, and spread the word!

  • You are right. Thanks for the post.

  • So maybe since Mike McCreary didn't have a 2nd corroborating witness, JoPa was just doing what ESPN was doing? Some heads at ESPN need to roll. And it'll probably need to be voices from Patrick, Wetzel, Feldman, & Travis who get it to get it done. Holding on to that tape for 8 years is morally reprehensible.
