i kind of understand what you're saying because the older say anything songs are rawer while the new ones are more poppy. his voice is also deeper and more shouty on other cds while its sort of softer on in defense (and i kind of like shouty more)

@ratehim As a writer, I dont play my older songs because I feel like ive grown away from them. I live through my songs and if I play the older ones it'd be fake to me because I dont feel that way anymore. Sometimes I adapt it, but mostly never. I feel like Max sees it like that
