Barber and Dave Casper gave the Oilers two outstanding tight ends on the field at the same time in 1980. Earl Campbell reaped the benefits of having two strong sides to run to gaining 1,934 yards and 13 rushing touchdowns. Casper was the bigger name and the more gifted player but Barber was tough as leather and some player in his own right.
