I wonder, how is this game when compared to games such as Blazblue, Guilty Gear, Melty Blood and Scarlet weather Rapsody?

@matteste well, the series is pretty intense. While it takes a short, but enjoyable time to learn, the time it takes to master it is a big challenge.

Compared to GG and BB, it's not as fast paced as them, but you are still able to learn and use combos and still have fun.

Melty Blood, I haven't played it, so no comment, and with SWR, there are a few similarities between the two, like the all female cast, homing powers, and customizing options.

All & All, it's a fun series with a great fanbase!

@matteste I hear that, all my friends play street fighter, but i find it to casual. I don't see the hype of it all, considering the game makes a big deal about a six-hit combo, while in any other game, you can get six hits in your sleep.

Hey, if wanna get into Arcana Heart, i recommend you import the new game coming out, if you have a ps3. I say that, because of all the trouble it takes to make an xbox play import games.

But yes, they all are better then Everybody-Play-As-Ken Fighter.

Kira(girl in water blob) is the only real grappler character in this game. I guess Catherine could be considered one as well but she only has two grapple moves. One is a special move and the other is her Critical Heart move.

Nope, unless if u have a japanesse ps2 or the switch magic hing that plays imports and u order the game online or something, but thats only 4 Sugoi!Arcana Heart 2. Thats the improved version with more characters if u didn't know. It'll probably never be released in the u.s and if it does get released in the u.s it'll probably be a very long time from the current date.

It doesn't: once you run out of homing bars, your combo will end soon thereafter.

You would need infinite homing bars to do an infinte combo.

I got to play this at Chinatown Fair Arcade, it's got a few other spots where it's located but I don't recall where. It's as solid as the first one at least from first glance, I only put a few hours into it though so it's hard to tell. But I really enjoyed the changes to Kamui.

It acts as a shield temperarily (by time or dmg dealt to it). It also prevents someone from walking by to or from you. also works as a portable wall.

Man, after seeing this vid, I'm so already prepared to play Arcana Heart 2 after completing all of the character's Story modes!

The combos and graphics certainly look more slicker than before and the new characters kick ass! Please, Atlus, you got to let us Westerners have this one as well!

As of now, this is still an arcade game in Japan only which has yet to get a confirmed console release as far as I can see. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that it does gets a Stateside release eventually, though I can tell that it will happen since the first Arcana Heart got some good reviews, I can also hope that Atlus doesn't edit the voices in this one as well.
