I have been listening to Alex Jones for awhile and a lot of what he says seems true but I have always wondered why is he still alive if he is blowing the whistle on them? Can someone please tell me what they think about him and if he is to be fully trusted. It depends on the context. Some verses are literal, others are allegory, and others symbolic. The context is what dictates the correct interpretation. Overall, yes, I do take it literally. When dealing with eschatology and interpretation context is always the deciding factor.

Yes, there is plenty of real evidence. If you accept that Alexander the great was historical figure then you cannot deny that Jesus Christ was also. We have independent historians accounts that back up the gospels. We have a historically accurate account through the gospels themselves that withstood extreme scientific scrutiny. If you want to deny the historicity of the Gospels personally that's your business, going around refuting historical fact without evidence is another.

There is plenty of solid scholarship available on the subject so it shouldn't be too difficult for you to find it. I tend to check out both sides of an argument before making up my mind in regards to what is true or not. The Scriptures have been verified many times over through archaeology and other scientific means of study.

It depends on the context. Some verses are literal, others are allegory, and others symbolic. The context is what dictates the correct interpretation. Overall, yes, I do take it literally. When dealing with eschatology and interpretation context is always the deciding factor.

Yes, there is plenty of real evidence. If you accept that Alexander the great was historical figure then you cannot deny that Jesus Christ was also. We have independent historians accounts that back up the gospels. We have a historically accurate account through the gospels themselves that withstood extreme scientific scrutiny. If you want to deny the historicity of the Gospels personally that's your business, going around refuting historical fact without evidence is another.

I'm one of those heretics that believes the church is in apostasy and that the perfect Gospel will be preached to all the earth during the Tribulation. I'm specifically talking about the 144,000 prophets, the elect of YHWH, that will be made up of every tribe, nation, creed, and tongue. Some of them will be Muslim, others will be Jews, some New Agers, etc. I could be wrong.

There have been studies done specifically on the development of Christianity as it pertains to myth and legends and the results proved that the Gospels did not develop in such a way. The Gnostic writings which came later, adhere to the formula of how myths and legends form, the original gospels have nothing in common with these writings and have been verified in many different ways.
