Let this man teach on his channel the way God allows him. I have been playing 30 years and i never heard of such a ridiculous statement @porte588. Kirk plays both sets of chords but when i was coming up, i needed some one to beach me foundation. Thats what this class is all about. If the substitute chords were tought here, there would be so many people lost.Great Great job to both of you but get your own channell....lol sheeesh

God Bless Bro, but this is a Kirk Franklin song. chords should be left hand bass Db/ right hand chord is AbCEbF then G bass with FBEb then Gb bass with FAbBbDb and finally B bass with GbBbEb. You have too many major chords which kirk franklin seldomly uses.

@porte568 First off, I am 100% sure they are correct. I just called the THE PRODUCER of the song to double-check. The chords are simple triads:(LH/RH) Df/E-Ab-Db G/G-Bb-Eb Gf/Gf-Bb-Db B/Gb-A-Db. Its THAT SIMPLE, which is the beauty of the progression...its simplicity! Anything different (more or less) is not as it was recorded.Not to say that your chords dont sound good,because they do, and you are welcome to play the song in that manner,but the chords given ARE accurate. @porte568 Secondly, your last statement regarding which chords Minister Franklin seldomly uses or doesn't use is really an impossible statement to make. He and his producers are musical geniuses, who are in no way limited to "seldomly using major chords". The complexities of their harmonies and progressions are beyond me! @porte568 Lol. You over complicated the song. See Kirk is about basics, in all reality. This song is 100% correct, checked it out, and it's valid. The chords you used over complicate the song, and don't allow for vocal structure, well, at least what he was going for. Simpling out the chords, opens up for vocal creativity and leniency.
