  • Did we forget that HFCS is also very high in toxic mercury due to the manufacturing process.

  • pretty fat for a cardiologist. maybe get on a treadmill and you can eat what you want, work it off you people worry so much the oxidative stress alone makes you sick. calories in calories out. fat stores when there is EXCESS calories from sugar or carbs and you don't exert energy that matches you intake.

  • @haven600 When people avoid High Fructose Corn Syrup, this does not necessarily mean that they are in great health!

For example, people who eat a lot of animal-based products (meats & dairy products) and consume other poisons such as MSG, aspartame or trans fats will not be in optimal health!

  • @HealthRanger7 people that run around all day workout and push their physical bodies deserve to eat whatever they please cuz we are designed to break down saturated fats meats and all the extra calories from milk etc, its the sedentary desk jockey that should avoid those foods since their metabolic rate is a snail. btw your body is made of amino acids apartic acid and phenylalanine among other complete proteins, we have 115 grams of chlorine in the human body as a necessary component to live.

  • @haven600 Yes, phenylalanine is a naturally occurring amino acid, but not free-flowing and in the huge amounts that are present in aspartame!

The methanol in fruit is bound to pectin and therefore goes through the body without any problems. However, the methanol in aspartame is NOT bound by pectin and is very dangerous!

Please watch the film Sweet Misery to learn more about the effects on the body of free-flowing methanol, phenylalanine and aspartic acid present in aspartame.

  • @haven600 When the liver can't digest HFCS fast/efficiently enough it stored the excess as fat for later energy use.

  • @IronWarrior4Ever all carbohydrates in excess store as body fat if they go unused for energy. do you even know what a glycemic index is? i'm not even diabetic and i'm aware of this concept.

  • @haven600 No shit, and not being diabetic is not causation of knowing that concept.

  • There are more and more GMOs, artificial sweeteners and other toxic chemicals entering our food supply each day. Anyone who makes the comment; "sugar is sugar", really needs to get their head out of the sand and start doing some research. If there was no difference - then Big Agri wouldn't be able to take out a patent on it - due to its uniqueness!

  • SUGAR IS SUGAR whether its from corn or sugar cane.

overeating hfcs is bad. but so is overeating sugar from sugar cane.

    people need to understand this.

  • @overblast0000 Not all sugars are equal!

Glucose (derived from carbohydrates and 'normal' sugar) is used as fuel by the cells in our body. In contrast, the fructose derived from HFCS can only be metabolized by the liver. As a result, when consuming fructose in HFCS, 30% of it is stored as fat! In addition, fructose, in contrast to glucose, has no effect on appetite, which results in overeating and obesity...

  • @HealthRanger7 hfcs is 4 times as sweet as glucose, so yo only need to eat 1/4 of it. also table sugar is sucrose, which is fructose and glucose stuck together (disaccharide). straight up glucose was never used.

also fructose is 1.7 times as sweet as sucrose.

  • I was happy to see that Ocean Spray doesn't use HFCS in their cranberry-grape juice. I noticed the "store-brand" where I was shopping DID use it. What a scam. I rather pay a little bit more money and buy Ocean Spray's version without the HFCS. I don't work for Ocean Spray but I think everyone should know the brands of foods and drinks that are healthier than the normal ones. It has no preservatives and no artificial colors or flavors. DO NOT EVER GET THE TOXIC "LIGHT" VERSION OF THESE PRODUCTS!

  • I drink only mexican coke. none of that bullshit that the american soda companies

    put in their drinks.

  • @TheDegree777 I tried Mexican Coke once. It was REALLY expensive for a small bottle of it at my local Meijer supermarket. I was shocked how overpriced it was. It tasted incredibly good without the HFCS though!

  • Learned some things I didn't know but not surprised. I know I'm not the only one seeing kids that can barely walk drinking soda. Parents have the ability to avoid soda, especially in the early years, so that their kids don't acquire a taste for it. The parts about fatty liver, increased hunger and carbonation were interesting and should convince folks to read labels and make other choices as often as possible.

  • High Fructose Corn Syrup IS an ingredient in many cereals also.

  • HFCS is in every-single-god-damn thing in the grocery store. Just about! They're trying to kill us. You gotta read the ingredients on everything before you buy it.

  • @G0FlyAKite1 I agree, it's REALLY hard to escape HFCS in USA. We're lazy assholes who want to save money and don't care if we poison our people.

  • @Kanella2009 For agave syrup, please google search: Beware of the Agave Nectar Health Food Fraud sott

Organic maple syrup is completely natural and relatively safe.

  • @HealthRanger7 and oragnic honey, just as good as agavae in my opinion.

  • @RobMonty248 Please be aware, agave syrup is not as healthy as it seems!

Please google search: Beware of the Agave Nectar Health Food Fraud sott

  • I only drink Sierra Mist soda

  • .....has anyone seen the ads for HFCS saying that the body can't tell the difference between HFCS and sugar; that sugar is sugar?

  • @ReeseMac a better question to ask is "has anyone seen the many many studies that say that HFCS is virtually no different from table sugar, and that over-consumption is the largest issue?"

Fructose is a problem, but it exists in same amount or more in sucrose, and a lot more in most juices (namely apple and pear — most added to other juices)

  • None of this is good. Triglycerides can build up in liver cells and damage liver function.Today, Americans average 55 g per day (73 g for adolescents). The increase in fructose intake is worrisome because it suspiciously parallels increases in obesity, diabetes, and a new condition called nonalcoholic fatty liver disease that now affects up to 1/3of Americans

Watch Dr. Robert H. Lustig presentation of the nuances of fructose biochemistry and human physiology: . com / watch?v=dBnniua6-oM

  • Why are they insinutating that high fructose corn syrup (made of 42% fructose and 55% glucose) and corn syrup (made of glucose) are the same thing?

There's relation between HFCS intake and development of obesity.

Virtually every cell in the body can use glucose for energy. In contrast, only liver cells break down fructose. What happens to fructose inside liver cells is complicated. One of the end products is triglyceride, a form of fat. Uric acid and free radicals are also formed.

  • Great info! Thank you.

  • HFCS feeds cancer cells. AVOID IT AT ALL COST. And many other additives like aspartame, name changed to aminosweet!

    Robertson is a Freemason. IMO

  • Can't stand Robertson but i do like that this is being addressed.

  • Just say 'no' to SODA!

  • thanks for the info

  • Labelled "glucose/fructose" in Canada. The sheeple refuse to wake up, because they "like the taste"! Don't worry, sheeple - Big Pharma appreciates your business!

  • @RandyBful1 ...and its in most bread..if it's the genetically modified corn that was used to make the syrup it's much worse I would imagine.

  • @giantgreenbuddy: I only eat organic bread, now.

"if it's the genetically modified corn that was used to make the syrup". What are the odds!!! ;)

Dairyland "real" whipped cream is full of CORN! Go to the store and read the ingredients...no conspiracy here - nope! It's much worse than most people think.

  • thanks Health Ranger!

  • WEll now, even the bigot robertson , like blind squirrel, finds a nut now and then! Great video.

  • Thanks a million for posting this Health ranger 7!!

  • Wow High Fructose Corn Syrup is in EVERYTHING!!

  • The FDA is corrupt and allows this poison.
