I have tried for months to recruit Groudon, with no luck. My Magneton got Rayquaza in one try, but is an Electric/Steel type just bad to recruit Groudon, and if so, should I send my Absol, Skarmory or Medicham to recruit it?

@Gers0011 nope . :) It doesnt matter, mainly because he has -10% chance of catching him anyways. Throw gummies & give your leader the friend bow to get a higher chance on recruiting. ^.^

@LedEater1000 a level 100 Aricuno will have a 24% chance with the friend bow. its on level 20 of Mt. Faraway, and it gives an added 10% chance to all pokemon for recruiting. Groudon, and i think rayquaza have -10% recruiting chance, so they can only be recruited with a level 100 Articuno who has the friend bow. Hope this helped.

@LedEater1000 Any level 100 has a 25% chance added, Groudon has a -10% chance, with a friend bow it has a base chance of 0%, level 200 with a friend bow has a 25% chance.

Hmm sounds a bit weird..

You have to defeat him once then go back to recruit him, if you've only gone once then you must go back again when you have defeated him.
