Just received the big shot last night. I was curious as to what accessories are needed to use the texture plates.
I have two packages of 12 old Fiskars Texture plates (copy write 2004 & 2005), the ones used with a stylus or "texturing tool"). Never liked the scratched back of the paper from rubbing, so I let the kids use them as crayon rubbings. Not sure if they'll work in the bigshot.
Wow, I am glad I bought the hand crank bigshot! I do crafts when my kids are sleeping and that one was loud! It is hard to use my heat gun then too :) thanks for sharing I was wondering about the sizzix texture plates I have never used them before.

@74nsm, the cutting pad is much thicker than the plate she used over the silicone.

Hi. why do you need the impressions pad? why not just a cutting plate on top of the rubber? x

Thanks, I recently bought the Express but would like to know if you need to buy the multipurpose platform to emboss Cuttlebug folders?
