I had my first (illegal) drink in a pub facing the old Carlton Square (half a mild) when me, Dave Harisson , Ross Johnson and others sneaked out of our Grammar School one dinnertime circa 1970/71. Would love to know the name of that pub!
@Griceyboy - When I lived up Incubator a family by the name of Colledge (Not sure of the spelling) lived at number 16. Young John was mates with my young brother Dennis.

I'm far too young to remember the 'old' Carlton square so this was a great eye-opener for me. :)

@silverstartrucker ive just moved onto walton crescent why is it known as incubator av?

@Griceyboy - All large houses with lots of bedrooms, so big families have always lived on Walton Crescent.
I lived up there as a teenager and there were 5 in our family. I now live at the Court, and use a mobility scooter.
