  • guys this stuff is real. I'm almost 28, I'm healthy and athletic, and I can barley get it up with a real woman. I have decided to stop all porn, and stop masturbating for good. so I give myself enough time to fully heal my brain and body. it really is not worth it when at the end of the day you cant please your woman in bed.

  • ..but can i look at pics?

  • @Kevblack1998 If you are asking what to to eliminate to recover from porn-induced ED - the answer is - everything artificial. See this FAQ on YBOP: What stimuli must I avoid during my reboot (did I relapse)?

  • does weed affect your reward system like porn ?

  • @victorcelmare All addictions share fundamental mechanisms and brain changes - as described in the videos. However, they have subtle differences. Consensus is that weed is not physically addictive, and doesn't affect the dopamine system as strongly as sex, food, or addictive drugs such as cocaine, opioids, etc.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos Is it ok to smoke weed or drink alcohol on the weeneds only during a reboot?

  • @Avaricious123 It's up to you. You'll have to see if it causes you to fall back into porn use.

  • damn, that thing about seeing what's going on in the porn world rings so true...I keep thinking of all the good stuff I'm missing and then when I relapsed after only 4 days, I couldn't believe my luck at all the new stuff I found and I think that new stuff added to the chaser effect....it was like I saw some great stuff and thought "I'll save that video for the next wank"......more people need to know about this info....I'm so glad I found the YBOP site and these videos...thank you so much...

  • GOD BLESS YOU!

  • Thank you for this very important videos. You have saved my life from porn!

  • I wonder where I fit in all of this.

This past year, I've had sex six times. Three, in which I experienced ED, including the last two times. Now, I've been a porn watch since I was 16 (I'm 28 now). I always suspected that the ED was porn-induced, for which I am convinced now. But, I wonder, since I was able to have sex 50% without any ED problems, how severe is my issue?

I know experiencing it once it a problem, in itself. But do the people you talk to talk about how often they experienced ED?

  • @deeluve22 I've seen thousands of accounts of men with porn-induced ED. No way to answer your question. I suggest visiting YBOP, and the ED & Porn FAQ.

A simple test: How's your erection when masturbating to sensation only? NO porn, no fantasy, and with the speed and pressure that mimicks sexual intercoruse. No death grip, no rapid fapping.

Ultimately, the only way to truly know is too reboot your brain.

  • Thank you so much Mr. Gary! I'll never forget how ashamed I was last time this happened to me. The poor thing was criminally unsatisfied. Never again!!

  • @hurricaneivan117 same here my friend :)

  • Thank you sooo much for everything Gary. You have helped me and sooo many people.

I thank you from the bottom of my heart

  • [cont].... but I'm not sure if taking drugs for my depression right now will mess with my dopamine levels or have sexual side effects on me. Basically I am worried that I will go through the reboot fine but I won't see in improvement in the end because these drugs will cause a loss of libido/less dopamine/sexual side effects in the end anyways. I am not sure what to do.

  • @silicon43 First, addiction is far more than low dopamine, it's multiple neuroplastic changes represented in the "pathways" on the video. Second, a lot of men ahve recovered from ED while taking antidepressants or anti-anxiety drugs. Millions of people have recoverd from addictions while taking SSRI's. The take away is to reboot anyway, and you will see benefits. You may not have a clear picture of your libido or erectile strength right away, but you will eventually

  • Your website & videos are amazing; they've helped me with my ED problem somewhat, however, I think I ran into a dilemma; I hope you can answer my question :). I have anxiety & depression issues, not really because of porn use, sense most of it is situational (public speaking). My doctor has prescribed an SSRI medication for my anxiety, but I read that because of the way those drugs work they may have sexual side effects such as loss of libido or less dopamine. I'm in the middle of my reboot...

  • I think that the videos were great and agree that stopping porn is the way to go. Watching pon also makes you want to masturbate more. Perhaps 3 times a day sometimes, so I agree that 3 times a day is way too much and watching porn had definitely got to go but stopping masturbation sounds a bit extreme. I think going 22 days is a bit over the top, do you really think that that is necessary. Could I get back to normal if I stopped porn and said I am only going to masturbate once every 3-4 days?

  • @bergalini Where did you get 22 days? Most men with porn-induced ED need a lot longer then 22 days to fully recover. Usually 60-120 days. Really depends on severity of their condition. We are finding that younger guys who started early on Internet porn (11-12) genrally need longer as they have not wired to the real deal. See Porn & ED, and Rebooting Accounts on YBOP.

  • i have the biggest urge to look at porn one last time before i go cold turkey....must.stay.strong.

  • @1596bin I'm not a doctor and I have no idea what your situation or condition is. If you want all the info we have, please visit this FAQ - Is my erectile dysfunction (ED) related to my porn use? - at yourbrainonporn

  • I am curious to know about how females are affected by watching porn, how does the reaction of females differ from male from watching porn ?

  • @mclarenf45 If you are asking if the addiction process is the same in males and females, the answer is yes. All addictions, whether chemical or behavioral, involve similar mechanisms. Of course, that says nothing about any individuals reaction to any particular genre of porn.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos I wanted to know if females have the same problem as men from being addicted to porn, in terms of physically & emotionally how does it affect them.

  • @1596bin No. Masturbation isn't intrinsically "harmful". Although some guys say it affects their mood and perception.

  • Thanks a lot for this.

  • @elitepspfreak Not easy to answer for older guys, but at age 17 you should have high sexual desire for real females and lots of spontaneous erection. One sign involves masturbation. You should be able to masturbate to sensation only - no fantasy, and have a rock-hard erection. Improvements will likely continue for a while.

  • @elitepspfreak Most guys take 3-4 months to fully recover, but it is highly variable and dependent on many factors. Although teens as young as 15 develop porn-induced ED, 1) it is rare, 2) most have been masturbating since 10-11, or earlier. In other words, full blown ED almost always takes longer than 3 years to develop. I expect you to recover much faster than the norm. Men in their twenties. who started very young. are now taking the longest to recover (older men did not use porn so young)

  • @elitepspfreak Once men "reboot" they need to find a masturbation schedule that works for them. That's the only advice we have. Many sexually active men limit their ejaculations to only sex, others work out a masturbation schedule based on how the feel. Every guy who reboots finds that their true libido is quite different from their previous porn-fueled need to scratch an itch.

  • correction- can it be cured

  • i have been watching porn for a month and i was wondering can anything be wrong with me. i am 15. i am really stressed. if yes is it cured

  • @1596bin Our videos address the end results of long-term heavy porn use: Addiction and ED. However, teen brains are at the peak of dopamine production, reward circuit activity, and neuroplascticity (ability to form new pathways). This means that even relatively small amount of porn use can have an affec. No one knows the psychological effects of porn use, especially hard-core, or gonzo porn. To answer your question - I don't think you have any condition that needs curing.

  • Great videos. I've often wondered about the effects of chronic pornography's effect.

    A question for you...

As stated, like other addictions, the dopamine receptions lessen in order to save the neuron from over stimulation. Because of this, more dopamine is required to be motivated or experience pleasure. Have these findings been correlated with depression? The way I see it, little things in life will no longer bring the pleasure they should, possibly leading to a negative affect.

  • @Helblind Yes they have. Not only fewer dopamine receptors, but less dopamine. New research suggests that antidepressants that raise serotonin, actually affect the dopamine system. Dopamine raising drugs are used (off-label) to treat depression. Nearly every one who is addicted, and stops porn for a few months, reports that normal everyday activities are now pleasurable. They also report decline in social anxiety, greater concentration, and more energy - all are related to dopamine.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos Huh... very interesting! While I have no problem with ED, I do believe I may have a porn addiction and a problem experiencing joy in life. I'm going to have to try the no PMO and see how it goes! Thank you for your reply!

  • [cont.]...sexual potency build back up if i constantly try to have sex with my girlfriend? Or am i better off completely abstaining until the problem is resolved? Please help

  • @niggapino85 [cont]....Recovering from porn-induced ED may take 2-3 months, depending on age, severity of addiction, how long the ED has been present, and how consistent one is on no porn, masturbation and orgasm. At all costs stay away from porn. You may have to find a middle ground on sex. See the FAQ's on yourbrainonporn. There are lots of accounts of guys recovering from ED.

  • Whilst recovering from ED, should you completely avoid sexual activity altogether (as in even with your girlfriend?). Will this help build up your sexual potency quicker? I have just started dating my girlfriend and have already suffered from ED when in bed with her on a number of occasions (no doubt a result of my excessive porn use). I can get an erection and penetrate, but then it quickly becomes flacid, and i find myself trying2 fantasize about porn to try and keep it erect. Wil my

  • @niggapino85 I suggest visiting our site yourbrainonporn - lots of resources. Your story is typical. The guys that recover the fastest give up porn, masturbation, orgasm, and fantasy. Of course the whole purpose of having healthy erections is to be with a partner. So loving contact is good, but forcing an erection with fantasy slows progress. It will probably take longer if you continue to have sex. We can't say how much longer as everyone starts from a different point, and age is important.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos Thanks4 the quick response. I have already checked out your website, was really useful. Is very comforting to know that so many people have this condition as well as myself. I must admit though, Im finding it very difficult to get my head around being able to 'rewire my brain', as i have been watching porn for so long (probably around 5-7years, im 27 now), i am extremely worried that i wont be able to do it, and that ED will continue to affect me for the rest of my life :(

  • @niggapino85 If you read the accounts on the site, you may have seen guys who started porn when the reached puberty and used it for 10-20 years. They recovered their erectile function. Everyone will recover from porn-induced ED if they give their brain a rest. The brain is very plastic and changeable. If people can recover from strokes, you can recover you dopamine production and sensitivity. Everyone recovering from this problem is anxious especially when they stop porn, and their libido dies.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos You have made me feel a whole lot better. Thankyou!

  • @BodyWisdomVideos Hey im back again. Basically been off the porn for the last month or so...(if im honest ive maybe watched a porn 2 03 times in that month, but no more than that). Still masturbate most nights. Been having sex with my gf too and noticed that i can sustain an erection for a bit longer now. Whereas b4 i could only last literally like one minute, now its like 10mins or so. One thing i wanted2 ask, does porn enduced ED somehow affect the sensitivity of your penis? because i find...

  • @BodyWisdomVideos [cont.] that no matter how hard i try i cant ejaculate when having sex with my gf. I can only ejaculate when i masturbate. Its like i feel it going in and out, but the sensation is only mild, and no way as good as it should be. Has watching porn somehow decreased the sensitivity of the nerves in my penis or something (and if so, what can be done?)? Or is this a more of a biological issue u think? Please please help, as its really stressing me out.

  • @BodyWisdomVideos error in 1st msg....should read: ive only watched porn 2 or 3 times in the last month.

  • Very helpful vidz!!! And glad to hear about it described out which info discovered just recently. I would think this would be the case and have held back for even a month which I believed helped some on here and there days but 2 months w/o thinking about porn is another step. When I finish, I want to of course beat it to some good ol' porno hahaha BUT, it won't be hours in a week, maybe a video or so...or, just see what happens. I can always just beat it to just porno pics b4 DSL (lol on that..)

  • ...Sigh some of the side videos on part 3 actually just caused me to relapse into porn. Goddamn it. I was 2 weeks. Slightly ironic. Var annoying.

  • @Shark112 Your right about the the side videos on part 3. It is too bad. We have all our videos imbedded on our website - yourbrainonporn, to avoid this problem. But it doesn't users any good if they watch them here. Sorry

  • Thanks for the tips. I was about to have sex with a girl yesterday and my erection randomly went away. I must say that i watch porn pretty often. The strange thing is that i was arroused simply by her touching me. It wasnt until we were actually naked and ready to have sex. Show i just give it time?

  • @ChimbzZ Dopamine rises during anticipation so it's not surprising that the initial touches had an effect. But you could not maintain the dopamine necessary for full erections, due to desensitization. Yes you should give yourself time away from porn. You may also need to drastically reduce masturbation for a time period. That said, you may have recognized the problem in its earlier stages. Visit yourbrainonporn for lots more on ED and porn - recovery accounts, tools for change, FAQ's, etc.

  • I then found myself being with a lady and thinking about porn when im with her, she'd be trying to get me hard and my mind would be on the porno nothing worked I had no feeling down their, I thought man maybe sex wasnt 4 me It was really stressful the only thing that helped me out was da girl was really a friend and didnt get to upset or mad about it she was understanding ive been watching porn since ive been a like 10 and im 24 now I hope that this cures it do u think im still curable?

  • @focusmatt0 Everyone with porn-induced ED is curable. We have seen it over and over again. Most guys report starting porn at 10-11, and many hit the wall in their mid twenties. Though some get ED in their teens. We have a tremendous collection of resources at our site - yourbrainonporn. The site is totally non-commercial, non-religious, and free of moralizing of any type.

  • Hi I have an urgent problem , is it possible we could communicate privately by email?

  • @justfourthen Yes you can. I do get private communications through the youtube channel. If it's ED then I strongly suggest you visit our website - yourbrainonporn. The site has everything.we know about porn addiction and porn-induced ED. You can also email me through the contact there.

  • Man great piece I think this is what's getting me I cant have an erection with a real woman, but when I watch porn im solid rock. 1st I blamed it on the girl then I blamed it on me being a virgin at the time age 23 then I blamed it on my stress levels and problems. But then I notice something when I was younger everything use to get me hard even a female dog walking moving hips lol. Now nothing could get me hard only porn I would have sexy women walking in my house but naked and nothing.

  • how about Musturbation?

  • @justfourthen We haven't dealt with anyone who developed ED from masturbation without porn. Nor have I seen it described anywhere. That said, once someone has porn-induced ED, cutting out masturbation as they reboot their brain seems to be necessary. Then finding a schedule that works for them. Interestingly, one man developed ED from a schedule of daily porn use, even though he masturbated only once every 10 days.

  • Glad they were helpful. Share them with forums where you think they can do some good.

  • Thank you very much Gary for these very helpful & informative videos.

  • thank you so much...wish you all the best in life:)

  • god bless u... uve saved me

  • Thanks Gary, you are saving relationships, my friend!

    God Bless you.
