you could get crushed between the cages, or stuck in the ropes and dragged off the side (although there was a lot of line that would have went out before him), or cut in half or some shit

If his foot became tangled in the rope he could be pulled down with the cage. If you are caught in a rope and pulled down under very cold water you will die quickly. The cage is heavy and the rope is strong so it wont take much to drown if you get your foot stuck in the rope and pulled in the water by accident. Go ahead and watch the video again and you will see what I mean.

i dont think its safe but i dont get ? its like Ultimate survival how come the camera crew is allways with that guy ? same here how is it possible to have like 5 cameras aboard the ship. The second thing is the mics, how is the sound so clear after all the wind and the waves and the engines ?! Those who were in the open sea wiil know what im talking about.
