  • Mokichi Okada's words are very inspiring.

Who was he actually? Does anyone know?

Did he also practice tea ceremony?

  • First of all, there is a typo in the video and page.

The tea ceremony is called "bontemae", not "bonteame".

Bon means tray, temae means roughly "in front of your hand" or "the things you prepare", but is a synonym for "tea ceremony".

Bonteame would mean "Tray-hand-rain" or "Tray-hand-candy".

  • ahh! I wanna taste it! soooo elegant it HAS to taste good. xD

  • Thank you very much for this movie, I never saw a bonteame done before.

  • Bonteame is a special abbreviated macha tea ceremony

  • is this Omotesenke? Urasenke? i want to teach tea ceremony to foreigner...

  • vary good
