I like this accent very much. In my opinion Apple means "Good looking product". "Good looking" is all about the success here. They are not technically advanced just good looking compare eg. iPhone vs Nokia 95 or Nokia 82 or LG or even Samsung. Most of all those people LOVE the good looking product which looks like product from the Universe. ;)

Apple products do look good but they are also extremely functional. Mac OS X is very advanced as an Operating system. The iPhone was the first with touch screen technology, which is a technical advancement. Good looking is only part of the success. There are many good looking things that are not successful.
