I think it is amazing how far the Afghan people have came since 2001, there is still a lot of violence and suffering, but if you look back, women where not even aloud out of their homes with out being unaccompanied, and as far as music and television they were banned period.

I dont think I will ever get used to the vocal stylings of the WestAsian or MiddleEast performers. The number of musical notes just are different. ITs what western people would call off key but a whole area of the globe see this as real music.
