Nice set-up. Good landscaping with "territories' and broken sight-lines. Not crowded. A good place for 3 tough customers like you've got.

I dont know ur tank situation, but from the looks of things it is a NICE and LAYED back environment. I like cichlids simply because of their PERSONALITIES. U can tell that they are very INTELLIGENT fish, certain things they'll do when u are NOT looking always has me laugh. They can see & look at u just as u do them. & 2 be honest I like to watch them FIGHT as long as they are NOT getting TORN up. There is nothing wrong with a territorial fight. It is just NATURE.(This does NOT mean I fight them)

@jacksonjones402 I would say go bigger in tank size, but if you can't than jacks, convicts and GTs can go together but as soon as you put a red devil or jag in the mix than all hell will break loose

A Full grown Red Eared slider can somtimes kill red terros and other cichlids as i found out

I had a Jag that terrorized the entire tank, very beautiful fish. Unfortunately I had to get him out of my tank. Now the only problem is my GreenTerror hates my Leporinus. The Leporinus knows how to take care of it's self very well.

Not always. AS you can see here the jag is the smallest, so obviously not the king of the tank. If it grows up used to them, it'll mostly ignore the other two as long as they ignore it

Better keep an eye on that jaguar if it's the same as a managuensem which I think is the same fish, it will live peacefully for a while then suddenly one day you'll see some shredded fish hovering in the corner thanks to its aggressive nature....good luck and nice fish.

should be fine but make sure they are the same size and get a red or tiger oscar which is one of the more aggro oscars because the gt is stronger and quicker and make sure you have at least a 75 gal tank for adults
