  • does they stryker have rudder? ive got it on the sim and it doesnt

  • no, they don't have rudders. I made a stryker that had a rudder on each stab, worked ok, simple, easy to do, just takes two small servos

  • dumb question but instead of feathering the throttle couldnt you just find the sweet spot and run it on that?

  • nope, the pulsing of the throttle is what keeps the nose up and the air momentarily going over the surfaces, a constant throttle would either stall or fly away.

  • Ronin, that's the most impressive Stryker flying I've seen to date. Very nice. Also, nice recovery by that guy with the Spitfire. It really looked like it was going to go in on take off.

  • Thanks, ya the spitfire pilot is an old pro, so he was able to keep her flying even with the limited power. Thing was practically doing harrier too lol

  • Thanks Eseck13, that thing had brush in the tail surface when he got it back on the ground. What a flight lol

  • Awesome Video and Great flying! Thanks for sharing.

  • Thanks a lot, was just watching one of yours actually, the 100mph parkflyer. Got a couple depron around myself, should get them out . The flat airfoils really let you get some speed up on em

    Thanks for watching

  • Yep got to say it! your the master of the styker without a doubt mate :-) and that spit pilot was great how he got that bird up then got her back like that,5*

  • Thanks Taz, ya glad he was able to bring her in,. he hasn't even painted her yet lol

  • Nice.

is that the same as the motor i have in the rex? (430xl) there good little motors i reckon.

    cheers

    j

  • Thanks Jay, ya it's the newest align one, 3700kv. I have a just go fly motor in my 450, really moves it around good too

  • brushing the brush! lol, great piloting skills Ronin!

  • Thanks nasanction, ya buddy just refused to let the plane go down in the brush, there's even water beyond that, thanks the RC gods it didn't go in there

  • awesome vid yet again ronin!!!

    5 stars!!!

you would have never thought that a combat wing could do that stuff, but anything is plausable when ronins in control lol!!!

    great vid!!!

  • Thanks Henman. Strykers are a riot, unreal what we do with them, and how well they hold up, sometimes lol

  • all it needs know is thrust vectoring on pitch and yaw now that would push the stryker past its normal aerodynamic reach

  • I've put rudders on a stryker before, but Im looking at a Su34 on Hobby Lobby that has twin vectoring jets. that thing looks cool

    Thanks for watching

  • I have it! Its cool!little slow though. What ever happended to the mig?

  • You have the Su34 with thrust vectoring from Hobby Lobby? They are backordered, and have not been in yet. Where did you get it? Mig is just leaning up against couple other planes. Power sucks, need to replace fans and motors
