  • when i saw the trail, i imagined this scene much more ... epic ... no no, much more ... ristretto !

only french people can understand :D

  • This was so intense!

  • Someone sceeamed damnit

  • 0:10 Execute Order 66!!

  • Ifyou go to Full screen Snape looks like he is wearing Eye Shadow

  • McGonagall over everything!

  • I love how Daniel Radcliffe's voice cracks at 2:17. Makes him sound so sad.

  • I wish the actual duel was longer than 10 seconds.

  • WTF. Why is Cho still in Hogwarts? O.o

  • Harry appears: students move slightly, large gasp;

McGonagall stands in front of Harry, wand ready: students scramble away, shit just got real

  • Take a look at my top 10 Movie videos with the links in the description.

  • And lo, it was proved that evening that, Alan Rickman remaineth awesome.

  • Someone screamed damn it

  • Comment removed

  • Dude, Mcgongall is the wizard version of a freaking GANGSTA!

  • 1:46 gave me chills. ALAN RICKMAN IS SO CREEPY!!!

  • Thumbs up if you ever experienced one of these scary teacher moments yourself.

  • I always die a little inside when Harry screams at Snape!! D:

  • did I just see Cho Chang before Harry stepped forward? could've sworn she was in the year above Harry?

  • @SonicsTheMan yeah they messed that up, she was even in the train in DH part 1, when neville tells the death eaters who stpped the train that Harry wasn't on the train.

  • I WANT MORE POTTER PLEEEEZ!!

  • coward. the most ironic insult you could ever hope to find for snape.

  • 2:01 - 2:36

    my fav. part.. (L) (Y)

  • In a fight to the death who would win?

  • I would say Snape. He's skilled with both dark arts and good magic, having learned under Dumbledore and Voldemort, the top wizards of their time, and serving as both of their second-in-commands and close informants.

  • DazzGalaxy yes! She should!

  • Epic. Alan Rickman and Maggie Smith in one duel.

  • @urlady21 I just wish it went on longer! :D

  • Snape does dramatic pauses best.

  • I think J.K Rowling should write 7 more books, but a whole new saga about Harry's son and all the other kids from the Epilogue.

  • @DazzGalaxy yeah but drama is only as good as the villain and voldemort was one of a kind

  • No.

  • @DazzGalaxy Well, she vowed never to continue the series after Deathly Hallows.

  • @DazzGalaxy too much of a risk. These books are perfect as they are. Let's not be greedy now.

  • @DazzGalaxy Or about the Marauder's generation *-*

  • @DazzGalaxy Why? So we can have another "Teens at school" drama series? No thank you. The series is complete, period. Anyone who thinks more movies or a show should be made about the "school lives" of the new children should go watch Glee like the rest of the mindless apes that enjoy that garbage. Then, they should be shot.

  • @ShadowKain666 Or Perhaps a Book/Movie about McGonagall and her past.

  • @DazzGalaxy I would be more than satisfied with a prequel. Telling the combined stores of the staff, the Dark Lord and the other students at that time (the parents of the characters we know in this time frame). I think that would really help flesh out the series, in fact. Besides, the kids that played the young versions of these characters need to be brought back for some more work - they really fit in as their respective characters.

  • @ShadowKain666 Hey fuck off, it wouldnt be some teen shit, if u like harry potter u whould like dat, or else, you should be shot.

  • @iAmAcePC And I think you should go back to school (if you aren't still a little sniveling brat in school) and learn how to spell. I think "u whould lern from dat". Great logical retort by the way. I love the part where you didn't come up with anything original to say and instead preferred to simply copy my own comment. It shows how much you preferred it to the worthless drivel that might have spawned from the dank recesses of *your* mind.

  • @ShadowKain666 Im not original? You go into my spelling, i did indeed not spell right there as english isn't my primary language. But as you can see there is no major problems in my spelling IF I TRY TO. And im not ''Unoriginal'' because of ''copying'' your comment, i did the opposite of unoriginal. If you are a harry potter fan witch i HIGHLY doubt you are pretty lonely in your opinions. We want harry potter forever, not destructive, pathetic people like you. Get of this video.

  • @iAmAcePC Perhaps you should re-read your comment. Even "trying to" your spelling fails horribly. Being bilingual myself, spelling is never the primary concern. Grammar and pronunciation are the concerns. Spelling mistakes are due to idiocy and/or lack of effort. Given that your most recent statement claimed you were making an effort this time, yet you still fail miserably, tends to lend credence to the conclusion that you are simply an idiot.

  • @ShadowKain666 ur still bragging about spelling? Do you call people idiots not spelling right or having good grammar? This is a harry potter video, can you come with the arguments about the opinion you wrote? Or do you wanna whine about people's spelling the whole day ? I do belive you are simply an idiot using how people spell against them in a conversation about, HARRY POTTER? Perhaps you should re-read your commentS. I really dont care about spelling when im on the internet.

  • @iAmAcePC I can argue quite well. You would first, however, have to begin using a form of logic (which you clearly lack). So, if you would like to step into the realm of logic and argument I would relish the opportunity because you would then be playing in my court. I responded in the manner I did because your mindless, childish little retort to my comment was lacking in all forms of substance and weight, flaccid and weak - much like its creator.

  • @iAmAcePC So, feel free to let me know where you would like to begin with this "argument" you would like to have. Go on, I'm waiting.

  • @iAmAcePC And lastly: Did I hurt your feelings? Aw, I'm so very sorry. I wasn't aware you owned this video, owned this channel and owned YouTube in such a capacity to be in any position to tell me to "go" anywhere. You poor boy, I pity you. "iAmAcePC"? You are not "Ace"; You are "Ass" at best. Tatty-bye, child.

  • @iAmAcePC -sigh- Asking questions and calling me autistic (which is laughable, by the way) is not a logic debate in any way, shape, or form. So go back to school kiddo - you're a retard. I love the ironic hypocrisy in "therefore I will not talk to you more" followed by more talking *and* a second comment. Here, let me show you how to properly "stop talking" to someone. Ta-ta, child, and welcome to the blocked users list. ;) Enjoy your stay with all the rest of the rabble.

  • @ShadowKain666 Once again the bitchy fag can't relate to the subject i TRY to talk about.

  • @iAmAcePC Ignoring the dribble between you two I'd say that ShadowKain666(sounds like a whiney goth's username) has a point. I think an additional set of books/movies/etc. would only be a gimmick to make more money off of the franchise. The series is closed, anytime one attempts to reopen a closed series it usually ends in poor material that drags the rest down. After closing the series on Harry Potter and focusing more on the school most of what you CAN do is left to teen drama items.

  • @SketchFoxx You actually woke me up IN a way, if i rethink this i can actually see a crap future. BUT. I still belive that if a good follow up company could get in the kids at the end of HP7P2 it MIGHT work, if it doesn't do so, there is a possibility of teen drama. ShadowKain maybe used his super smart words without his wrong spellings, but you explained this better then him in one msg :) Still... I want more harry potter so bad that the thought of not-good-ness doesnt exist for me :(

  • @iAmAcePC I essentially said what he was saying for the most part, only without the 'roid rage in his words =) For that he got butthurt, calling me 'kiddo'. I'm probably older than him, who cares? I've seen arguments on the internet where people pull out all the long words in their vocabulary in an effort to sound superior. Yes people like that are smart. But they're still arguing on the internet. Life - 1 Them - 0

  • @SketchFoxx Exactly what i was thinking of earlier today! He only thinks his right because of his super pro spelling and way of writing, and actually i didn't read his message to be like yours, you went in to it beign about money and that work whouldnt be put in, And yes, risk is, it will be crap. Although i think you should give it a chance, if its shit, then i dont belive it would frag down the first gen HP. I think that cast whould be h8ed but JKR,DAN RAD, EM WAT, RUP GRIN, whould still b loved

  • @SketchFoxx I wasn't aware you could judge emotional states from a short series of letters in a Youtube comment, I'm impressed. You failed, miserably this time, but if you can generally do that, that would be quite a talent indeed. I love how your comment is miles more "butthurt" and arrogantly assumptuous than anything I wrote. Irony is bittersweet.

  • And your comment sounds like yet another ignorant fuckwit who insists on labeling and categorizing everything he sees. It also reveals your mental age. Yes, I have a point - period, end of discussion. Just because some rabble doesn't have the brainpower to comprehend that is of no consequence to me and just because you can further spur the inane rambling of the childish "lolwut" troll bears no validity as to the substance of what you're saying. A username is a username, kiddo.

  • @ShadowKain666 hell yes I agree

  • @ShadowKain666 u on crack, it would be great

  • Sorry, but I don't swing that way. I am not interested, I prefer the ladies.

  • @DazzGalaxy I disagree, I'd rather read more about the Maurders ( James, Sirius, Lupin and Lily) they just seem more interesting

  • @DazzGalaxy THNX SO MUCH! I've been trying to figure that out since I first watched the movie in August 2011! I am now going to ur channel to check it out!!!! ;() that's a mustache buddy if ur wondering!!!

  • Alan Rickman...BEST BAD GUY EVER!!!.....just as good now in HP as he was in Die Hard....gotta love him!!

  • Snape is so f*cking damn sexxxy...

  • it sounds like harry potters really gonna die hard...

  • 2:55 who shouts and what do they say? It's sounds like "down here" but I don't know.... If anyone knows PLEASE reply!!! Thnx so much! First person to tell me gets me to look at their channel, favorite a video, and MAYBE subscribe!! Thnx

  • @MsHarrypotter64 McGonagall shouts 'Coward' at Snape as he Escapes.

  • God damn it i was literally biting on lips this entire scene so that i dont yell at the screen and say that Snape is a good guy

  • She was a Real G, dude.

Soon as Snape stepped up, ol' girls said "UH-UH! YOU BEDNOT TOUCH HIM. How dare you kill the man I (whatever their relationship was) and then try to step to the boy I treated as a grandson since day one. Bitch, if you ever."

Then she threw the spells, not givin a damn. And he backed off, and she's still got the "Yeah, bitch. Run. RUN," Face.

  • love this scene!!<3 especially alan rickmans accent!

  • Professor McGonagall is a babe!

  • I loved how McGonagall totally stepped up and socked it to Snape!

  • Snape:Many of you may be wondering why i've summoned you...

    BECAUSE I'M A FUCKING SUMMONER,BITCHES!

    GO LEVIATHAN!BAHAMUT!

  • Of all the movies, this was the only one that really deviated wildly from the book. It reached the same destination as the book, but it kind of took a different path through the woods to get there. The good thing about that was that it kept you guessing. Unlike with the other movies, you really didn't know what was gonna happen next, except in broad brushstrokes. This scene did not exist in the novel, but damn----it makes for great theater.

I love the line "How dare you stand where he stood."

  • McGonagall's kicking ass!

  • I think he deflected the spell to hit the Carrows on purpose

  • you can tell alan rickman laps up his real ending speech, good for him :)

  • Because snape was threatening Harry and she knew that if she took the fight snapewould be defenceless because then two where onnce very good friends

  • why McGonagall attack Snape

  • @XX15214 ......you missed the entire part of the movie where snape was torturing the students, threatening to kill the only person with a chance against voldemort, and where he killed dumbledore?

  • @superanimeniac i guess you missed memories scene. Snape was trying to protect students from harm he would never try to kill Harry but snape was not able to fully protect students and had to be malicious because of Voldemort. Snape was sending students to Hagrid for punishment instead of using cruciatus curse on them like carrows

  • @tomislav61 did mcgonagall or harry know this at that point?

and no, snape was sending them to the carrows.

  • @superanimeniac you have no Idea of what you are talking about did you actually read the book? carrows were sadistic and he couldn't stop them from torturing students. Snape was always trying to protect students as headmaster for example when several students tried to steal fake sword he pretended to punish them by sending them into the forest with Hagrid.

  • McGonagall: Hell no.. . this has gone far enough

  • You notice they are both hesitant to fight.

  • @kohle144 Nope, McGonagall looks pretty content...

  • Well McGonagall is fighting one of Voldemort's top men, and attacking him means attacking the entire Death Eater army.

And Snape. . .he just doesn't want to hurt her.

  • Protego seems to be the only Defensive spell Snape knows how to use.

  • @DazzGalaxy Just because he doesn't want to hurt her

  • @DazzGalaxy I advise you to read the book. You will find there not only that Snape dueled three professors at the same time but all defensive spells he used. In the end protego is the most efficient defensive spell known.

  • @IIreull Ive read the book soo many times. i meant in the movies, i haven't seen him use much spells,

  • He's never fought seriously.

  • @IIreull I've read the book too, but i'ts a well known fact that McGonagall is one of the strongest witches alive.. She vs Snape is certain win for her.

  • don t you know why snape don t attack mcgonagall cause they are both member of the order and snape was pretending he was to the dark lord.

  • Notice how snape reflects her one assault to hit the two carrows before he vanishes

  • Before I say this I hope I'm not giving away any spoilers, but since most ppl hav read te book or seen the movie I'm gonna say it anyways.

If I were Snape when Harry was yelling at him I'd be like "GOD, KID!!!!! I DID IT TO SAVE YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!! YEAH, *YOUR* LIFE!!!!!!! IF IT WEREN'T FOR ME THE WORLD WOULD PROBABLY BE RULED BY THE EVILEST GUY EVER!!!!!!! SHUT UP!!!!!"

  • this is so epic !!! i love this scene

  • at 2:48 Snape killed the 2 deatheaters behind him on the sly unnoticed. Because this is not a real battle but a role to cheat the dark side...

  • McGonagall would have killed Snape if he didn't run like Hell!

  • That is one cranky old lady... better watch out for thoose

  • I was surprised at this in the theater.

  • EEQ------------------------UALLY GUILTY

  • "Have you seen Harry Potter, Minerva? Because if you have, I must insist-" Snape was ready to tell her that he needed to talk to Harry. Oh how I wished Severus had lived. This scene is better than in the book though, I do wish there was more fighting, and Professor Flitwick had joined in the fray.

  • Snape reminds me a little of Adolf Hitler in here haha, organisation and disciline and he acts so cold its unbelieveble acting! Well Done!

  • I can honestly say that Hogwarts is so much better under Snape. Its disciplined and ordered as it should be. If this place were real and run as we see here then i would be proud for my kids to attend.

  • @MartinLuther105 Yep. Runned by Death Eaters that want to turn it into a school for the Dark Arts. Where they tortured kids who misbehaved and hung them from the ceiling by their wrist. Perfect. Exactly where I'd want to send my kids Lol

  • " how dare you stand where He stood. Tell them how it happened that night. Tell them how you looked him in the eye, a man who trusted you, and killed him. Tell them." one of my favorite quotes in the whole movie!!!! Go Harry Potter!!!!! ;) -3

  • lol @ snape taking out the two death eaters before leaving. Snape: #bootstoasses

  • Is it just me but when McGonagall comes to duel him, he looks a bit sad or something or at least every time I see this it looks like it?

  • In German it's much better!

  • Comment removed

  • Three great actors playing the main role in this scene, Alan Rickman, Maggie Smith and (the newcomer) Daniel Radcliffe - surely because of their roles in this franchise, now are national treasures!

  • This was the third best scene in the entire movie. I love series like this, where everything comes together like this. I also love the word choice. It absolutely amazed me.

  • @BCPSTUDIOS101 What was the first 2?

  • i friggin love Snape

  • Did anyone else realise that they foreshadow Snape's mission here? He takes out the Carrows and makes it look like an accident so that they can't harm the students :D.

  • I love how Snape's last act before he saves his own skin is to take out both Carrows with a deflected spell. AWESOME. Always the protector.

  • McGonnagall is a bad ass mother fucker.

  • @SameshitdifdayFails No she did not. If you are going to clame things then link people to them. I want all of your 'proof'

  • Snape did make an offensive spell. 2 spells actually. Cast at the two death eaters behind him.

  • @Imagination1028 Indeed. But neither of them targeted McGonnagall.

  • @TheHysse Snape's not so stupid as to retreat leaving 2 deatheaters behind. Sure Mcgonagall could probably handle them, but snape took no chances.

  • @Imagination1028 But if you noticed Snape actually deflects Mcgonnagalls spell onto the two death eater knocking them out. I'm guessing theyre easier to handle knocked out :)

  • Let me save you some time; to get to the fight scene go straight to 2:00

  • 0:02

  • Lol Snape just got his ass kicked by an old lady

  • HD.........

  • @11adamlfc Nope...

  • Snape+headmaster=reform school

  • GO MCGONAGALL :D

  • A great part of the film!!!!!!!!

  • I would not want to duel Professor McGonagall lol

  • To all responding to me: Yes, but also - he doesn't want to harm her.

  • this isnt hd????/

  • After Harry says "How dare you stand where he stood!", you can see how pained Snape is. He is thinking: I didn't WANT to kill him. He MADE me!

    Great scene.

  • Think about how much shorter these films would have been if Snape talked at human speed.

  • snape <3

  • lol i love snape's speech.

  • LOLOLOL ''coward!'' ;D

  • @MapleCandyCookies snape is not a coward if you're talking about him.

  • Rickman's delivery of Snape's speech was phenomenal! He is such a great actor :)

  • aww poor snape.....he wasn't a bad guy after all....he has to lie to harry about dumbledore...sigh

  • go minervaa she should be headmistress!! <3 hahaa

  • @thesassybanana she is after the war ended

  • @thesassybanana After the battle of Hogwarts, Minerva does become Head of Hogwarts-I think xx

  • Notice that not even once does Snape use a offensive spell against McGonnagall.

  • @TheHysse mcgonnagal came in to rapidlly. in attacking her, snape would have left himself vunerable.

  • @FalconsPOWN2

Plus JK rowlings said She would have won.

  • @TheHysse In the books he does fire spells against her, but fled because he knew that if they continued one of them would die and he was friends with McGonnagall. :)

  • @TheHysse He doesn't has the time

  • @TheHysse Notice also that snape deflects two of McGonnagall's spells into the two death eaters behind him. ;)

  • @SaraKristin1 Exactly :)

  • @SaraKristin1 Yeah, he did that so that once he flew out of there then the Carrows wouldn't hurt anyone else cause they're knocked out :) SNAPE IS SMART

  • @TheHysse Cause he's too busy trying to protect! He couldn't get an offensive spell through because his ass was getting whipped

  • @mexicanboy1618 he had at least 5 seconds before she cast her spell. thats plenty of time

  • @missrandomgirl1 She wanted to see if he would attack first. When he didn't, she decided to kick him out, run him out of the school before he hurt anyone

  • E-qually guil-ty. Classic Snape.

  • what if i killed snape and the death eaters? Fail?

  • amooo

  • liked & favourited. might sub now

  • @michael22385 Adjust your monitor settings & to make your screen a little bright

  • it's pretty dark, isn't it?

  • Wow 692 views?

  • @DazzGalaxy try 20.000 now :))

  • @DazzGalaxy 36.090 :O

  • Awesome scene!
