I wonder how many laps you've done in such low temperature. I guess expected survival would be 30 minutes or so. Good message of peace and good luck in the Travessia do Fortes.
@silvacdsbr Lifeguards will only let you be in for 10-15 minutes. I only did one length before my hand was so stiff I was afraid of not being able to hold the ladder to get out (I'm a bit too heavy to be dragged out if I pass out). This is my first year of winter swimming but other nutters of the SLSC do it all the time.
