For gears 3 they should have put out a super limited cog tag like only one made for each of the hero gears (Marcus, Dom, Cole, Baird, Anthony Carmine, Hoffman) that would be epic.

@sephiroth611 well actually the hole is to run a ring through it, then the necklace otherwise it'd be crooked, and i guess this is how cog tags are in the game as someone stated before, the size to fit a big ass cog soldier, and in gears of war 3, you could see every character has 1 cog tag, and for some reason when you pick up some cog tags, it's two :/ *shrugs* maybe it's different depending on the rank of a soldier.

@Leon3921 Well, I saw two Cog on each necklace since the first game, plus Dog Tags have two plates. So I'm guessing it's to do with the fact two might have required more work. And I doubt it has to do with Rank, because Anya and Hoffman are the only Officers in the game.
