it is not from Dave Brubeck, he was just first preforme who mastered it. This master pieces writes Desmond. And nice variations

@zustvrdosin actually it IS from Dave Brubeck. It was the Dave Brubeck Quartet who first performed, and recorded and released, this song. His friend, Paul Desmond was the Sax man! Mr. Desmond wrote the music, Mr. Brubeck and his wife wrote the lyrics (yes, there are words-lol). Thus, it is Dave Brubeck's Take five. 2 nice versions are on youtube with Dave on piano and Paul on the sax. enjoy.... I love them!!
