You either chain together path_corner entities or use path_track entities. Path_corners are better for npcs while path_tracks are for trains or moving objects.
Good video and concept. Make sure the gnome doesn't get on the highway:)
Just a few ideas:
Needs to be some sort of fix to prevent the camera from colliding with the car at 0:24 and the zombie at 0:34.
And how'd you get the gnome to stay put? Disabled physics? Post-production work?
Otherwise, just an idea, this would be good as like a 30 sec ad-type video if the gnome doesn't do anything in the final product. Unless you re-create the gnome model so that animations are possible.
I combined the interior of the garage in the next map with the exterior from the first map. The idea was to drive directly through the garage and onto the next map.
In a way its like garrys mod but I can tell you this that its made by hammer world editor because a explosion can't just come out of nowhere

Don't f*** with the gnome. He'll run over zombies, children, zombie children...
I did Little Rocket Man twice. After that I was glad to shoot him into space.

Did you use scripted paths for the gnome or were you driving?
tehSuperJedi 2 years ago
Scripted paths. The car is being driven by a npc_driver entity.
Mystfit 2 years ago
I like the idea :D

Nicely done. Now I want to install my Half-Life again :D
Could make some simple tutorials how to use scripted sequences on hammer, or ragdolls? I'm really curious and don't get how to do it :(
