  • This is a very well built piece of kit. May I ask, what poundage (tonnage?) of apples constitutes a 'pressing' to make a batch of cider with this equipment?

    Thanks.

  • Nice work! Love the wheels! I like the metal hoops

  • @SaveSkills The bansd are Stainless steel and the wheels are hardware store itmes. Thanks for looking

  • 1:37 too dangerous for the average donkey

  • :"That thing, that's what we need"

  • What do you do with the squeezed out fruit pieces? Compost or cow feed? Seems kind of a shame to just throw it away.

  • I give some of it to a freind who has a pig.

The rest is composted and ends up in the garden.

  • @rickartj If you can etc...you can take the squeezed bits put in a big pot, cover with water, and cook on low, add sugar, strain, and cook down to get apple jelly.

  • nice wood work.

  • yeah man, the way he pieced it together really digs back into the Roman roots of architecture and technology. I mean seriously, this is one of the best i've seen in a while. it makes me so hot. ugh. so fucking hot.
