Thanks David. The left hand is all chords and the right is all patterns. The tricky part is the tempo- You can cook if your practiced up on it, but if not, you don't want to take it too fast. I played it much better yesterday, but no camera. Not so good today. Keep at it, it's a great tune.

My god thats amazing!! At long last a Faros Rag video on youtube thats worth watching! I found a tab for this on a freetabs website but it looks a bit to short, it's like half a page long!! I need to work on it see what the story is with it!! Anyhoot that was amazing! Did you get your sheet music from a book or online? This was tremendous I'll look forward to more videos from you!

Thanks Lee. I learned this tune from tabs contained in a book called "John Renbourn: The Hermit and the Nine Maidens". A collection of tabs from two great albums of his. Renbourn really is a giant. A master at arranging and composing for fingerstyle in so many styles. Not to mention his technique. Try to find some tabs of his, they're worth reading.

Sorry. The full title of the book is "Original Guitar Solos- John Renbourn The Nine Maidens, The Hermit, Stefan and John." Published by Hal Leonard Publishing Corp. First published in 1986. May be out of print I don't know. Good Luck

Thanks. I know the tone isn't the greatest. It was recorded with a low budget pocket sized video camera with a built in microphone. The room is very alive with hardwood floors and very little furniture to absorb the sound.
