You are giving me ideas man. Need to throw my 530 around like that, too. Did you do anything to the suspension? Seems like brilliant fun. I once had a chance to rape my old XR250 on a Kart track and had the fun of my life, even with MX tires.

Do you prefer his 550 or your 530?

@RaskVousSalue I prefer my 530 on this track. I found the power came on too sudden for my liking on the 550. I couldn't get the hang of it for the short time I was on it. The 550 was wayyyy easier to back into corners though, and was very good otherwise. I did like it, but the power down low came on suddenly when it cleared out. I definitely would need more time on it to get the best out of it.

Nice Hoobz! wish i had my helmet cam when i raced supermoto, had some awesome battles with my older bro in a race 2nd n 3rd chasing down 1st into a left hander after straight 1st did a huge high side right infront of us just clipped the front of his bike and stayd in front of my bro , second last lap finished first under yellow flags, guy that crashed got scrapped up by the ambulance lol oh the joys of racing !! what gearing did you have on your bike that day??

@bikerjazz1 Hahaha. Yep Jazz, that's what riding and racing is about. The fun times. So many to choose from. Front seat viewing to a good highside is the best posi. I'm just getting into supermoto a bit. This was my second dry track day. I loved it heaps, getting the hang of it. The gearing was just my street gearing, 15/45. I'll start playing with the gearing a bit as I get more experienced.

@Hoobz01 15/45 wow change the back for sure, on my 450 i used 15/45 on wide open tracks but that bike was only a 4 spd. 52 on back with our 6spd would be good i think . oh i saw ur pics on fb. a buddy n i tried cruising the trails one day the cops decided to chase us , worked out good. its good practice saving wipeouts because its tough with no traction, find yourself alot faster on the track, have you tried stand up donuts yet? ive done a few good ones

@bikerjazz1 I'll play with the gearing a bit one day. Too busy to do much about it at the moment.

We think alike about it being handy to know the SM's limits for if its ever needed. hahahah.

I've done a few stand up donuts, just not a full one on bitumen yet. Don't worry though, as soon as my rear tyre is cactus I'm gunna have some fun with it :)

@grebur69 Thanks, but I'm not that good Grebur. Just having fun on my dirtbike. The 400EXC is a good bike. You CAN ride like me mate, give it time and practice, I was 17 too once and just kept riding. We are lucky here in Australia. It's a massive country with lots or riding areas. But NO matter where you live, if you think it - you can do it >>> Just stick at it.

The 'off' happened during my faster lap times following Markee. About 4pm. Fun though. It happened so quick there was no way I could have saved it without having my foot there ready, which I didn't.
