  • what the music in intro ?

  • @GrungeGirl91 It's Tom Morello toying with his Ibanez.

  • Fuck call of duty. Why are these cunt's making money off RATM?

  • Best intro of all time. The intro sounds like a bird whistiling in the 5th dimmension.

  • Can you just imagine - a radio that refuses to play music of lower quality than this - rage against the machine all day

    <3

  • you could just go absolutely postal listening to this shit!!! ;)

  • RATM and Eyedea, TairyHesticles, you have the two best names in all of hip hop on your channel.

  • i dont see mr thinks they sold out makin dope ass tracks fuck off dueche

  • they have done a fine job ..... revolver

  • I got goosebumps from the intro...

  • FUCK THIS GOES OFF

  • I bet RATM would be pissed that there is an ad at the beginning of this song.

  • @JohnRMillerII you would think so but they did sell out to Guitar Hero

  • @MrTruheel actually on the game itself theres an interview with tom morello explaining why they had a song on the game and how children buy video games the same way that people used to buy cd's and that guitar hero was simply a way for younger generations to discover new forms of music and was not at all selling out but simply giving the children who play guitar hero a new sound to hear and a message to hear in their music so it was in no way selling out.

  • @JohnRMillerII VERY first thing I thought too.

  • @JohnRMillerII Na they'd be pissed someone is pirating their music. Oh wait never mind, I forgot they're awesome they wouldnt even give a fuck

  • @JohnRMillerII Na they'd be pissed someone has uploaded their song in 240p !!!!!!!!!!

  • Yay, this was made when I was born ;D And I love it <3

  • F&%k this is a great song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Timmy C is my hero. Funk machine.

  • Im 12 years old and make sure everyone knows it by posting my age in every video I watch on youtube hahaha Your special cuz your balls havent descended and your not emo.

  • @arsongrady your comment makes me want to punch you in your pubescent face

  • @VadeTheGamer he's makin fun of kids that are like "im 13/14/15 and i listen to this kind of music" just so they get attention

  • @arsongrady Get the hell off the internet.

I agree with the commenter above you, your comment actually make me want to kick you repeatedly.

  • @94sFinest That motherfucker was making fun of the children that actually say that. In other words, he wasn't serious.

    Fuck

  • Escaping silence in your outside world can be easy! but is it just as easy coming outside with the inside of everybody?

  • YYYxEEE has the right idea. Even us kids know that RAGE is better than Bieber or any mainstream artists. FUCK ALL BULLSHIT MUSIC RAGE ALL DAY MOTHAFUCKA!

  • i love the guitar from 1:09 - 1:50

  • The beginning intro i believe was a guitar with faulty pickups that made a neat feedback effect

  • 0:41 I don't really care for the beginning.

  • @chailizard wtf pointless? The beginning is awesome

  • kick ass song and and i have fucked to this to

  • people just dont know wat real music is... how the hell did it go from awesome shit like this to the shit on the radio now...every time someone turns on disney channel i wish i had a revolver

  • @kilamanjarokenish

Keep them passive and stupid. Sell them things that don't let them think. Keep the goal "getting the stuff". If they want to be in with the celebrities, they must have the stuff. They must like the stuff. They must desire and become the stuff, so they can fit in with the others who have the stuff. Pop culture is designed to stupify, to pacify, to make us weak in the minds, and most importantly, to keep us spending our time and money on bullshit we don't need.

  • It would be sick if they switched it up every once and awhile, and didn't groove the fuck out of their songs, and made it like heavier than any other band ever.

    This is some fucking music.

I could fuck to their music.

  • I must of replayed this song 50 times after i heard it.

  • I didnt know it was RATM ft. R2-D2 on the opening.

  • @AxDdWn9491 THIS IS SO FUNNY /sarcasm

  • @AxDdWn9491 is just magic or a fucking great guitarrist

  • @lronMaiden666 both which means that is a magical guitarist!XD

  • That intro is so friggin nasty! I love this band! BD

  • timeless music, fucking boss man, top album this, got everything they've ever did, there still new to me as they were when they started

  • my god im suprised no one of my generation has heard RATM

  • @StJimmySamoa

    It's screamo now bro.

God I hate the scene trend.

I mean, I like Hardcore punk.

Bands like Rich Kids on LSD, and Bad Reaction.

I wish that real music could actually be heard by the Masses.

But Time Warner and AOL monitor EVERYTHING that goes on the radio.

And MTV is just, complete shit.

So, I'll stick to my old punk vinyls, and this shit. haha.

  • @kingxskippy the masses would listen to it if they wanted to, their just too numb and dumb to hear it.

  • @StJimmySamoa I know how you feel.

  • @333torismith1 Rock The Bells tours all over the US and has different line ups. This one was like 4 years ago, and they played with The Roots, Cypress Hill, EPMD, Hieroglyphics, Mos Def and Talib Kweli, and many more. I saw that one in San Francisco. Every Year they have a new ROck The BElls, and they kick ass.

  • RATM AND WU TANG in concert. Rock the Bells kicks ass.

  • @TheKipKadillac where is the concert!!?

  • @dizmufuca hahaha

  • Don't mothers make good fathers?

  • Comment removed

    L

    O

    FUCKIN'

    L

  • @lee1bama hahaha wtf!?

  • @lee1bama are you fucking queer? or like fucking retarted id say both..

  • Cant beleive this album is 14 fucking years old! Damn i feel old especially cuz i got this album when it came out!

  • this track is so fucking addictive....

  • 16 years old with the headphones on sitting in the garage playing the drums to this album back in 96...AHHH THE GOOD OL DAYS!!!!

  • @mnap128 guitar/bass with me and i still do it.

  • These mother fuckers are 2 sick i love this band man love them

  • I love you Tairyhesticles from rhymesayers to hard rock youve got all the best shit !

  • This album and soundgarden's down on the upside where the very first cds i bought

  • How the FUCK does Tom do the effect at the begginning??!!

  • @94machu it's using the delay pedal. when echoed signal is still going, by turning the "time" knob on the delay, pitch is changed, so when you wank it like a maniac, you get that sound :)

  • @94machu dude, forget what i said, his guitar is so fucked up from customization that i don't even have a clue what's going on with all the knobs. :) check "revolver - live"

BUT, using delay is one way of making that sound. cheers!

  • @94machu Tom uses an Ibanez Talman guitar equipped with a faulty internal pickup. That pickup creates odd feedback sounds that Tom adjusts by turning the guitar's tone knob and using the guitar's tremolo. Tom also adds some delay into mix. The rest just happens. That should help you, but if not let me know.

  • ok how the FUCk does tom do the effects in the beginning!!??

  • @94machu Well he uses an Ibanez talman for that by manipulating the tone knob;)

  • Favorite Rage song =]

  • My God, this song is a total eargasm when listened to with headphones on and cranked up loud. Sexual.

  • @UberCoolBen Agreed. Im using skull candies and the bass has my ears shaking even after Im done listening to it.

  • This song is really underrated... Its like one of my favorite rage songs.

  • hoo the intro ...WOO :)

    WOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • By far my favorite RATM song

  • The effects at the beginning are fucking sick.

  • Morello in the beginning is fuckin sick

  • This makes Baby Jesus cry...

  • The riff in this song is so...so....I can't really explain it. It's just so smooth, yet edgy, and it destroys every other type of music, especially rap and country, but rap especially!

  • @wally300x Yeah...RATM was better IMO, but Audioslave was a good way to revive it, in a way. It's not the same though, almost like talking to a twin, yet knowing he's not the other twin that you're friends with...even though they look (sound) the same...you know? Both kick ass, but Rage is better, I agree.

  • @AKx4 excellent analogy

  • It's really sad how I'm 12, and probably the only person in my school who listens to RATM, Pearl Jam, Tool and good bands as opposed to Justin bieber, lady gaga, and,oh god, kesha. We really need better music to wake up to the NWO. seriously.

  • @YYYxEEE gotta pick up a guitar bro, and the only thing to remember is to make sure its loud as fucking possible.

  • @nikesb2406 I've already been playing bass and guitar for a year thanks lol.

  • @YYYxEEE nWo as in the Hulk Hogan thing? Or riot NWO?

  • @YYYxEEE It's posts like this that make me hopeful for our future... This is a young mind that has broken out of the social engineering propaganda system.

His / Her post displayed more maturity and awareness than most of the sheeple of this nation...

You either have excellent parents who know the truth and have taught you well, or you have the incredible gift to question everything, and seek truth for yourself.

  • @digi7al3891 lol thanks. I'm 14 now and still listen to this. Although, I've been digging instrumental music alot though lately. Do you like Mogwai?

  • @digi7al3891 lol thanks. I'm 14 now and still listen to this. Although, I've been digging instrumental music alot though lately. Do you like Mogwai?

  • @YYYxEEE Love Mogwai!

  • @YYYxEEE i know how you feel

  • @YYYxEEE Right? I feel the same way.

  • @YYYxEEE You're fucking right man,i'm 13 and completely agree with you.

My problem is not just because of the pop nowadays, but i live in brazil,it's a country which produces an style of music which i hate(if that's music),it's funk.

Thank you for exposing this,i loved to say that.

  • @YYYxEEE You mean to stop the New world order right? Anyways its not at all a coincidence RATM broke up or was forced to broke up just a year before 9/11 :)

  • @YYYxEEE you are probably the smartest person at your school. Honestly.

  • Part 2

You're bound to find an artist that you like there to start you off, don't just conform to the whole bullshit hatred of black culture thing, they WANT you to fight each other. Underground HipHop is chock full of artists speaking out against the NWO but arcticulate rappers with brains aren't allowed to be signed by labels.

Those songs won't sound anything like the bullshit rap/rnb that's fed to us if you're reading this and have time to kill make sure you listen to them.

  • Part 1

WTF people are saying how political music like this no longer exists!?

Go into your searchbar and type Foo Fighters - Pretender

    It's about the NWO.

There's TONS of underground hiphop artists with deep lyrics like this, im not talking about garbage rap like Lil Wayne and 50 cent.. I mean Hip-Hop.

    Diabolic - Modern Day Future

    K-Rino - Politriks

Immortal Technique - Point of No Return

  • This so is so brutal and amazing!!! Fucking A+ RATM!!!! <3

  • 1996? omg, i'm so old...

  • @PlayaDontHate24 haha dam i just noticed the name when you said that

  • i miss rage, why cant there be amazing bands like this that have a message. these days it seems its one or the other either the band has a strong message and shitty music or amazing music and no message. we need another RATM

  • @garrett6767

You could not and would not want to live their message...

  • @devilndeepbluesea what the hell does that mean?

  • @devilndeepbluesea

    Speak for yourself.

  • Revolverrrr...

  • fuk ya rage makes the best messajiz eva

  • This song still kicks as much ass as it did 10 years ago when I first listened to it

  • @maulcs It's funny, I didn't much care for this song when this album first came out, but I went back years later and fell in love with it. It's one of my favorite Rage songs now.

  • @maulcs This band was formed 1 year prior to my birth, yet they still kick 98% of all bands asses. I'm still listening, and when I first heard their songs, they sounded modern... I didn't know the band was going on 20 years old...!

  • @maulcs going on 20 years soon for me. 20 years?? Man, I'm OLD.

  • a good album should be the sonic equivalent of reading a book. It should get you to think, to make feel some sort of emotion.

  • here here!

  • @ramberghini

If only modern music did the samething that stuff like this does to you. This music both rocks and makes you think.

  • thats right. the late 80's to mid 90's was like the second revolution of rock. i think people fail to see all the changes and breakthroughs that happened in that time period. now days its not the same. theres the occasional band with some uniqueness or new playing style or just a flat-out kick ass band but they are rarer than common sense these days. im hoping for a new revolution to restart the days of perfect music

  • @ramberghini If a good album is the sonic equivalent of a book, what's the sonic equivalent of an audio book?

  • days we lived but sorrowed to out come with fear to the last the we swung with the champion to justify the victory of the messiah with all hope of danger by a tone of blood crawling the mad sane demon finishing the postion on the podium out coming the domain with the hopes in the night we loved came alive and stalked the light and then entered the sand with a man from a toy by the leaking tree which released the spirit to live in the jury of might knowing what happens to the liked outcast of CCX

  • what happened to the outcasts of CCX?

  • I don't get the "don't mothers make good fathers" part, what's it supposed to mean?

  • After killing the dad with a revolver, the mom assumes both the mother and father figure to her child.

  • @dogico oh, thank you for that!!

  • @dogico wtf is that suppose to mean ?

  • @PlayBoyPabloPablo "Hey revolver, don't mothers make good fathers?" is a rhetorical question the mom asks the revolver either just before or just after she shoots the dad to death. She is reassuring herself that she can do a better job raising her child(ren) by herself than her abusive husband ever could.

  • @dogico the dad should just sell the kids

  • @dogico I would argue its about gang violence that kills the dad

  • @urasmore You would need to provide some evidence for that. All the song talks about is domestic abuse, so how gang violence ties into that is beyond me.

  • @chailizard Basically, the woman can be just as good and equal as the man.

  • clearly not, they only thing they can be better at is cooking...

  • eh thats more of a groove riff than a grunge riff.

  • 4:48

  • her body numbs as he approaches the door...

  • The intro sounds like a LSD trip.... but this song is fucking awesome!!! :D

  • from 0:56 its sounds like iron from black sabbath

  • I'm not sure what this song is about...

  • haha listen to the lyrics

    its about domestic violence.

  • @99nirvanafan99 No it's not. It's saying that women can be just as good as men. That's the deeper message IMO.

  • watchzeitgeist stole the words from me. thank you, sweetie, for being so concise and correct.

  • love the rage;s bass guitars n drums to bits! ;)

see video where he plays with a pen on the strings? :) lol

  • it wasnt for ratm that song...it was for audioslave...the song's name was cochise

  • this album should be required listening, along with a subsequent 9 week in depth course study, for all individuals between the ages of 13 and 85.

albums like this transcend my ability to comment effectively...

  • Gotta love Timmy C's bass tone in this album!!! so badass!!

  • i think this is definaltey their best album but definatley best song on this album is fuckin wind below

  • Thats me on the cover.

  • BEST INTRO EVA

  • what kinda sentence was that?

  • awesome song

  • im ol gregg

  • is this song about Mike Tyson?

  • Wife beating. I think its focussed in Mexico but I don't know.

  • tom is considerd the 26 best guitarist by rollingstones magizine. i dont think so. his number 1 to me

  • lets give timmy c some props for keepin' the grove

  • he can keep it... whatever a grove is.
