@94machu it's using the delay pedal. when echoed signal is still going, by turning the "time" knob on the delay, pitch is changed, so when you wank it like a maniac, you get that sound :)

@94machu Tom uses an Ibanez Talman guitar equipped with a faulty internal pickup. That pickup creates odd feedback sounds that Tom adjusts by turning the guitar's tone knob and using the guitar's tremolo. Tom also adds some delay into mix. The rest just happens.
