  • Great observations of the pronunciation problems of foreigners who come from various linguistic groups.

    While no Americans were interviewed, I must admit that, like David, I used to have problems pronouncing the French "r" and "u".

    I've pretty much mastered the "r" (though I can't say that it's easy), however, like David, I tend to underpronounce the French "u". I used to have a Moroccan housemate who corrected my "u" all of the time, so I am getting better at it!!

  • @plainvanillaguy Bonjour ! Eh oui, dans toutes les langues, il y a des sons difficiles! Pour les Français, c'est le "th" en anglais qui devient "z" ! (et plein d'autres choses !)
