About Illamasqua's foundation...I'd like to try it but unfortunately I live in Italy, I can only buy online...is there a way to get the right colour without actually trying it ? Like: I use Make Up Forefer HD foundation in 120 ...maybe there is a similar colour in Illamasqua? Is their 120 similar? Or the numbers are not related....? Thanks!

lol I went to mac one day asking for a sky blue. they looked at me like i was crazy "theres no such thing :S". people at mac in my city really dont know their own head from their own asses sometimes. At one point i ended up helping a customer since one of them didnt know the product that well while they went to get a manager.

I was wondering, for this look, if the person had green eyes would you just switch the colours around to mkae them pop. Using the spirit of this look, I used bitter on the lid, then Mac's soba (instead of the Skyblue) and a matte deep brown by Kiko (#06), then a dark brown eyeliner on the waterline. It worked beautifully. Thank you for the inspiration, Sam!!

What basic products would you recommend for someone with brown hair/eye, fair/dry skin who does not have a lot of money, but like good makeup?

You can get away with any eyeshadow, blush, and lipstick brand, put don't skimp on your foundation! Foundation is very important. I like these: Makeup Forever HD foundation, Benefits Foundation Faker, and Mac's Studio sculpt. Try them on in the makeup stores to see which one is best for you! Hope this helps!
