@zidphonix ok, first of all, its MARTIAL arts, second, anime is supposed to be entertaining which is why the characters use a bunch of fancy moves opposed to reality where you have to constantly judge and read your opponent, this removes any possibility of small talk during a fight, even at a safe distance taunting and conversing with your opponent can distract you from his movements leaving you vulnerable and in a real fight the smallest opening could result in defeat or serious injury
