Very beautiful tribute.  It is amazing how much of a mark they leave on our hearts. Our black lab, Zeke, passed away just a few days ago. He was only 1 1/2 years old and, like Bradley, was pure bred and the picture of perfect health. Tuesday evening we were playing ball when he suddenly collapsed. In the few seconds it took for me to run to him, he was gone. We are lost without him, as he was truly our best friend.

Thank you posting this. I just lost my beautiful dachshund, Maxx, yesterday due to kidney failure. We had to put him to sleep because his body was rejecting the treatments. He had just turned three on New Years day, so it was especially hard to let him go. It's been 24 hours since I've said goodbye, and it just doesn't feel the same without him around. Even for the shortest amount of time, these amazing dogs really made a huge impact on your life as well as mine. Now you have a beautiful angel.

So sorry . I know you'll get to see your Bradley again some day. My Nico ( Sheltie) was 9 years old and passed away of heart failure due to cancer on his upper spine. 6 yrs ago. He was my baby and soul mate. Even in dying he fought to stay with me, until I told him it was okay to go into the light, I'd be okay and that I loved him forever and would be together again someday. That is when he let go, and died in my arms. At that moment his face glowed as if he seen the face of God.

The other dog would actually act depressed.Yes he is alot better now that the new puppy has arrived yet he still sometimes sits on the back porch and looks towards the grave while whining.

I know what it's like to lose a dog. We had the sister of one of the dogs my parents have now and she died when she was only 2 months old. I was about 8 years old and found her outside one morning, lying underneath a snowmobile trailer. I didn't know she died until my dad came out there, took a look at her, and started to cry. A pedigree simply means inbred, my border collie has many health issues, with his hips mostly.... our cross breads have no health issues whatsoever..... a pedigree is at a higher risk of dieing earlier than a cross..... im very sorry for your loss though... 7 months is but a fraction of the time you should have had together....

Perhaps you can find some comfort if you believe you will see Bradley again at the Rainbow Bridge. We lost our black lab/golden Boomer one year ago. It still hurts now as though it was yesterday. It leaves such a huge painful void when their gone. You are not alone. Best wishes.

OMG, im so sorry. only 7 months. :( My dog was only a baby too when she died. In just that short period of time you can become so close to a little fuzzy thing like that and when there gone it feels so empty. Getting a new dog will help though, thats what im doing. When Bradley died we took him to the vet and they did external exsamination, but couldnt find anything wrong. They think he had congental problem with his heart. They said that postmortem not always conclusive, so we decided not to go ahead.

When Bradley died we spoke to the vet and she said that he probably had some congenital heart problem...It is very rear.

We couldnt cope and now have black lab William (you can see his clips). He is one year old now and we love him very much.

But every day we are thinking about Bradley too and every comment means great deal to us.

Bradley was our first dog and whenhe died so suddenly we couldnt really cope and 2 day later we found our little William (you can see his clips). William is a special boy he came to our live in such difficult time and he is helping us to restore our hearts.

Our beautiful black lab Bradley died at 4 o'clock at the morning 11.11.2007. He was seven months old. We were woken by some unusual noises, perhaps whimpering or dreaming, and by the time we had the lights on he had gone. He was pure bred with a pedigree as long as your arm and in perfect health.We are completley stunned and don't know what to do with ourselves.He was the best natured, most loving and affectionate dog
