Anytime I listen to this insane virtuoso it makes me somehow relaxed and calm: knowing quite sure something like that is positively impossible prevents me from trying anything simmilar and makes me feel OK at the level I'm right now. That said, if someone were holding a gun to my head and demanded I pick the worlds best living guitarist, it would be Joscho. He brings 10/10 natural talent, 10/10 expression and creativity, 10/10 technical acuity. Joscho was the first gypsy player I listened to (a couple of years ago). Both Joscho and Jimmy Rosenberg are from what I would call the school of "gyspy shred"; dazzling speed and technique, but like many listeners I prefer a player like Stochelo Rosenberg (no slow poke himself) because of his lyricism and singing tone, something that is hard to emphasize when you're flying through a tune. I would also put players like Romane and Fappy Lafertin in the latter category.
